Thanks so much sir well explained! However there is something that is not clear enough for me. I could not understand how we decide which one is tunica intima or tunica adventitia. In other words i can not understand the outer part in the section
The tunica intima is closest to the lumen; it is very thin because it consists of a simple squamous epithelium lying on a thin subendothelial tissue. The tunica adventitia is away from the lumen; it is much thicker than tunica intima. In veins, the tunica adventitia is even thicker than the media. The tunica media is populated by smooth muscle fibers in muscular arteries or multiple laminae of elastic fibers in elastic arteries.
