I live on a horse farm and I love telling my niece and nephews, "Go outside and play. Just remember not everything brown out there is dirt."
That loader was one of the best additions too the farm......i think...keep on truckin.
I am from Louisville Kentucky and I know that a lot of farmers have visited our farm machinery shows. I would love if everyone could say some extra prayers for our City tonight, unfortunately there was a mass shooting and 5 people have lost their lives and a police officer is in very critical condition. I love this channel and for 17 minutes and 50 seconds it brought me a little calmness and put a smile on my face. Much love and appreciation to everyone, hug your loved ones a little tighter tonight 🙏💙🖤💙🖤
another shooting...speechless
Of all the daily notifications I get I always click on yours when they pop up, before any other. Love your channel!
Got back in to cattle. My grandfather passed away in 1989 and he sold his cows. When my grandmother passed away in 2017 I inherited there property. I started with 4 bred cows and actually cried when the 4 cows were delivered. I love watching your videos. Wish my grandfather could be here to enjoy my cows with me. Cant till your videos post.
Lori, Great to see your carrying on your grandpas tradition. Where is your farm?
Great! So many farms just get sold off these days because most people just want the money.
We live in West Central TX. Very rural but I wouldn't live anywhere else.
Glad the cattle are about done with calfs be time to put crops in before you know it
Lori ,
The old man picking on you makes me lol.
Trying to catch up on your Vlogs...
Caregiving & working my Hinney of past 3 weeks... You all are always in my PRAYERS for Good Health & Prosperity... Fun having a Sonne Farms watch day...👍😁
GBY ALL 🙏❤️💙💖💙🐕🤗✝️
Send some of that sloppiness south we are still short on moisture out in NW Kansas! Love the videos Cole!
Thanks for a great video. Love it when you two make me laugh. I love watching your videos because they take me back to my childhood. I wish my dad was here to watch with me. Love the babies. Thanks for naming a baby after me. Keep them coming.
I love that gate for the atv. It looks like fun!
Cole, ever wonder if the cows in other yards on your farm think, "I'll bet the food over there is better than ours?"
Cole that Ratchet is very handy in close quarters. I have one that I have had since 1965. The offset in hte handle saves knuckles.
You can tell Ellie good morning!
I’m confused. “He’s a big stout fella”. Are talking about the calf or the Vet? 😂
:) That was exactly my thoughts as well. I'm glad you put it down.
This may sound like a strange or dumb question…but..
Cole how many gates do you think you open and close in one day?
Watch your knees Cole.
Awesome.
Loved that joke about the genetic disease because it was in his jeans.
Always some critter wanting to check out the camera. 😂😆😂
This was the perfect time to use the calf catcher or not
Remember Brian, Cole is the baby of the family and may not have as thick a skin as his brothers. He might tell Mom on you!!
Welcome to puberty, Cole! 😂
Hi to Cole and Brain and Jeff and family! Greatest video yes✨🌈☀️🐂🐂🐂🚜🚜🚛✨⭐ Storla Station ✨⛽✨🧢👕✨🍩🍩☕☕✨💌💞💞💞💞💞💞💞
Just because I pick up used oil for a living I'm curious what do you guys do with your used oil?
We got a friend that uses it to heat his shop in the winter
Cole. Bro. It rained 2 10th of a inch!!!
Man honestly I'm thinking about going purebred after the drought here in Oklahoma.
Honestly it will hurt my heart if I have to sell out do to cost and lack of rain but if I do it right. I should come out a younger heard and a better heard.
Tbh idk if it's true. But purebred is my dream and I have 28 now. 3 bulls.
Commercial its 22 cows. Losing them won't hurt me in any way.
But my old Commercial cows which is 10 of them is kinda in a way the start of my foundation so it hurts my heart to replace them when it rains.
Anyways I'll start watching the vider lol vi-der
How much for a week of cattle summer camp?
What brand of boots do you and Brian wear ?
How can you tell they have Pneumonia? Is it just the lethargy and breath sounds? Then the assumption is pneumonia so you treat for that hoping they get better? Obviously they can't tell you where it hurts. Just wondering...
Bad mothers should go to freezer camp
Would you please name a bull Tellyban 😂👍
Quite impressed with the relationship between you and your father. Something in these days to not take for granted - the respect for each other!
Good day sir. Love the nose camera.
As always fantastic video.
I love that flippy flappy gate you guys have
It’s the only one I’ve seen on RUclips
Hello friends enjoyed the video have a day love from TEXAS
I think I've been watching too many Sonne Farms videos because before you even mention it I noticed those cattleZ were in places where they didn't belong.
Don't worry Cole, we've all gone through puberty voice changes. Pretty soon you'll be getting hair where it wasn't before. Exciting times!
You guys work really hard you’re what America stands for. I wish l knew your dad
Sure like the care you give the cattle 👍👍
After three little claves and she still doesn't want to take care of them, maybe it's time to make some steaks and hamburger.
only 6 minutes out and 222 thumbs up you guys are really like by us all keep up the great videos please ...
Cole my son is a John Deere tech and believe me there’s all kinds of ratchet designs. I think mainly because they know a mechanic will buy them even if they will probably never use them.
Be glad you have your folks. I miss those days when Dad would tease the hell out of me or someone in the family
3:50 priceless. when your Dad stops making fun of you is when you have to watch out.
Brian, your having quite a day "how's that working for ya Cole" hilarious. This is why I love your channel! Big shout out from Niagara Falls NY 💋
My dad grew up on a registered Hereford ranch and he really likes your Hereford
I really appreciate how good you guys take care of your cattle. You guys are a credit to ranchers and farmers. I watch all your videos. Say hi to your dad for me. (He doesn't know me, but hey, say hi anyway!)
yep, they're a credit to the human race
The cattle on his farm are the happiest animals.
Great video Cole and Brian
That calf is lucky to be on your farm cause of your caring attention. Sure hope the medication helps him. ❤🐂 🐕 🚜 🇺🇸❤😊
Hi Cole and Brian (aka) Brain, Well I subscribed to your RUclips vlog about 2 months ago. I went back to your first video (4 years ago) and watch ALL of them with a thumbs up like for each one. I have enjoyed watching the dairy farmers in Pennsylvania and Saskatchewan and now your family in SD, I now know your operation from bailing to claving with everything in between. I will continue to watch your vlogs every time you post a new one (Storla Station) Thanks, Ken G. from Rhode Island
Welcome to the channel! Thanks for watching and for your comments!
I was reminded of the old song by Allan Sherman: Hello mudder, hello fadder, here I am a camp Granada
Cole remember this day on Father's day
Another wonderful video always enjoy it
I laugh every time you guys are trying to get the calves on the trailer…always think “it’s like herding cats” 😂😂
Hi Cole and Dad Brian hope you had a wonderful Resurrection Sunday.Thank you for sharing everything. I just love watching what you both do .God bless you all with a wonderful week.
If you like farming like this comment

Brian making fun of Cole, I have laughed so Hard, needed that.
Thank you guys for making these videos, us folks get to lookin forward to our new episodes of Brain in his natural habitat, and Cole navigating the mental and emotional child abuse inflicted upon him by his over achieving father, keep up the good work you two. Ps. i might be mailing something to ya here soon.
Thanks for another great video. It was interesting and enjoyable.
Getting toward the end of your calf season. You have done well. Sorry to hear you lost one.
You do a great job with these moms that do not want their calf. You work with them and get them and the calf together. Fine herdsmen you are.
Temps are letting you clean the concrete a bit. Good going. You are getting good use out of the payloader. Good unit to have.
Changing oil as spring is around the corner for sure. Good job done.
About it I guess. You both take care and be safe.
Thanks for everything.
The Iowa Farm Boy.
Great video good looking cattle God bless
Wow they sure didn't waste any time going for those bales.
Love your videos can’t wait for spring
Cows and cameras, what a combination.
I see YOU TWO have not lost your sense of humour
Don't ever stop what you do.
You feed the world.
And you entertain the world.
Thanks Jerry!
OhMyGoodness!!! I laughed and laughed about the voice cracking after the cows got out and Brian reminded Cole again. hahahaa! Oh dear! good times :D
Cole’s voice cracking; GET ‘IM BRIAN!!!😂
As always, the maintenance videos are my favorite. When do you think the field work will start?
things are drying out fast, maybe start some fertilizing even this week
Brian you are so sweet when you and Cole jokes around I really enjoy watching your wonderful videos hello to your both lovely wife's Rosa
We used to be troubled by pneumonia in our calves when the weather was high humidity, with high day temps and low cold night temps and there was little in the way of positive non-draft ventilation in the buildings we were using.
Overall the worst issue was violent temp swings that the animals had to cope with.
Regards, Dan
Keepin' it real.---Some dramatic new camera placements with this one!---I don't have much of a sense of humor, but I'd like to suggest adding a joke-of-the-day segment, because we all could use a laugh once in awhile! I tried & failed to add one here, the ones I like are too long to stick in here (when I can remember them!)
I got some great gags but they're not for posting in public comments
@@diggerdave.6587 And most of mine are nursing-related!
@@alanatolstad4824 now that sounds interesting
That was fun watching Brian tease Cole about his voice cracking. Love your father son banter! 😁
You can bet Brian isn't going to tell him the reason why his voice is cracking, this late after puberty. Uncle Earl was going to explain it in the main comments but, figured I would just Post-it in a side comment. The reason Brian is smiling and teasing him about his voice cracking, is he knows he's going to be a grandpa? Probably a grandchild in the oven already , from the hormone depletion post-wedding which has confused Cole's body into thinking he's going through puberty again .!! Another side effect is a loss of weight, Cole looks pretty thin lately.😮🤔😆😅😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Cole just watched your video. You and your dad mad me laugh than my darn wife started laughing at me!!!! We can’t win. Great video
Good video cole love to see you and your dad working together God bless
😂 LMAO, Cole Squeaky Sonne, oh my gosh we laughed so hard when Brian said, "how you doing ".😂
Enjoyed the video Cole.
Sick claves are never any fun but he looks like he’s well on his way to getting better:) I know I’ve asked in a previous video but if you guys still have some heifer calves left to come I’d would be really grateful if you would name one Trista after my best friend! She’s an amazing woman who has gone through hell and she’s been such a great support to me while I’ve gone through some difficult things myself, we’ve known each other for 25 years but only go close in the last few years and has become the greatest friend I’ve ever had the privilege to have
Coke what are you going to do when your dad retires. Better get to making babies.
IOWA Dad Joke oF THE DAY
[Q] What did the Brother & Sister (ears of CORN) Ask the Mother corn stalk?
[A] Where is POP Corn?
Cole shoving those cows in that trailer looks like me trying to close my carry-on luggage. 😂
Someday you'll have to do a video showing how very basic it is to adjust a gate, and then tell us why we all have to hold the end of the gate up opening and closing it just so we can dislocate our shoulders. Everybody does it, and nobody really knows why. If you have a gate - it needs to drag in the poo so it needs to be held up.
I don't know why people have to be mean. Maybe it's because their life sucks 😕
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha, love your dad's humor.......
As a little girl in the days of girls had to wear dresses, when you went out to feed bottle babies you had to feed fast and get out because they would suck your knee caps. Being extremely ticklish it was a cross between painful and hurtful…..
Glad the little fella is feeling better 👍 I think there is one more chore that needs to be added to your list..those muddy cows need a bubble bath !
🇫🇷funny and great video . Special one for Brian vs humour today. great dad & son team always smiling and joking.. happy Easter
Another great episode of Sonne Farms! ❤
You and your dad are hilarious. Comedian Jeff Allen has a segment about his son hitting puberty and his voice cracking, popping then making a barn yard animal joke... Lmfao
Thanks for the video. It's been a while since Uncle Jeff has been in the videos. Is he doing well?
Great video once again. I have said it before and will again. You and your father have the best relationship especially working together, because that can get hard at times. Oh name for a heifer “ DAISY” that’s my Boykin Spaniel’s name. Lol.
Brian❤ the content, heard Cole, crying again about the cattle crushing on don’t you think he’s been crying a lot since he’s gotten married???
Great video.
Hilarious when brain is feeling spunky!! Cole don’t stand a chance!!
really Awesome video. Dr. Sonnes. I sure hope the calf gets to feeling better and the other ones can get some milk from their mom
Ok here's a question from a Canadian City girl. Do you have concrete pads under all the dung in the outside pens? I've always wonder if those pens get lower and lower with the cleaning over all the years. Is there a setting on the Tractor? See I've been thinking about this. LOL and it was nice to see the Nancys represented in the newborn Claves. My Mom would've loved that her name was Adele and she was born on the Island of Guernsey. She always refered to herself to as a Guernsey cow or Donkey. My Dad said she was much more Donkey! LOL😀
I know I'm not Cole but I have cows. No the concrete is only 15 - 20 ft on the side where cattle can eat, the rest is dirt. They scrape the manure down to the dirt every time and try not to take any of the dirt just the manure.
@@mitchellkoehn6247 Thanks, first time watching this operation and wondered myself. Always been around farm life too.
Just concrete by the feed bunks where they eat. you do occasionally have to bring in some clay to build things back, but we try to just scrape up manure and not get too deep
@@SonneFarms Well done. Interesting about the clay too.
Somebody called. You a 3 letter word? He probably isn’t smart enough to up with a 4 or even 5 letter word 😂🤣. PS. Your dad cracks me up!!!
Aren't there easier things to catch a calf with?
Thanks for the video!
Do you keep pairs in those pastures foe the summer? Love watching you videos, very well managed you guys.
Your dad shouldn't be making fun of you just because you're going through puberty again. Hahaha
Love the calves and how they get out at the feedlot. So funny!
