Nice! The 808 interface is pretty foreign to me, certainly a much different beast than my TR-09 and my TR-707, so it was nice to see how it works. I can't say I am exactly comfortable with it, but with enough practice, I am sure I could get it. Thanks so much for all your hard work and time in putting these videos together, we really appreciate it. BTW, heard the final thing while writing this and it sounded spot on! Love that track and how you so seamlessly put it together. A+!
Cool video again, it looks so easy when you explain it. I was always curious how the TR-808 / TR-08 works. Who knows, maybe I'll get one someday, would be great. Thank you Traxler
Hello your quiet skilled at this I really like your videos my dude thanks! Can you please check out the jams I have open to the public and give me some feedback. I’ve only been doing this for maybe two years I’m originally a guitarist metal/ rock/ etc but recently been helping a friend with beats and mess around every now and then. I would appreciate it thanks again have a wonderful week and be safe
You have some nice gear and beats going on there! I started just like yourself with a minimal set-up and it grew over the years. I find you can learn a lot from copying your favorite tracks. There is a great community I am part of on facebook (you might already be a part of it) check it out: facebook.com/groups/216354978930499
@@ThomasMatthewEvans thanks for checking out my jams I really appreciate it and I will definitely check it out thanks again and keep on making music! be safe and take care
Ive tested it. sound is thin and boring and going under in the setup. The bassdrum is without any bell, sounds thin and powerless. After 2 hours I ve had enough of it, which is a bad sign. This is going back to the store.
You can also add a Hand Clap 👏 on steps 5 and 13 (both A & B) instead of forgetting it like me 🤦🏼♂️😂
@Banter Bulldogge - not at all - but it would be advantageous for firmware updates. You can play it straight out of the box!
Hell yes, I got it!
Thanks for the tutorial, the perfect camera angle, the speed of your explanation which works perfectly for me.
Thanks a lot. I just bought one for 250 euros on Reverb so this is very useful. Sounds amazing to be honest.
This is actually a really good intro to the TR08, it makes way more sense to me now generally. Voodoo Ray is a heavy track too so win win on this!

ive submitted a ticket on rolands side - its got to be a manufacture defect

That’s a shame 🥺have you looked at the gain settings and compression on the unit?
