I believe psa will eventually collapse and I think it be soon pea has maybe a few years left in my opinion. Their grading is not sustainable. There's a lot of cards that are a certain grades they shouldn't be. There are a lot of 10s that should be a 9s, 8s that should be 9s, And 9s that should be 10s. And the number of cards graded of that type of card affects all other cards value. so they don't give some cards the grade they should because it could damage the market. So they're doing a balancing act. Which will topple over eventually.
99.9% of vintage cards will not grade a 10, esp the more expensive holo rares. In regards to some of your modern cards, some looked 10 worthy to me. PSA is in the business of keeping ppl's business. Meaning, it's in their best interest to grade higher so ppl continue to send cards to them. But if cards you send are clearly lower grade cards, they may hook up a cpl grades just to give u your moneys worth. I'd mix more modern with vintage to get your 10's and mix them up. Don't put all your vintage and modern together. Play with the graders eye a little. It helps get more 10's.
If only your were a popular poketuber you would get every card a 10, even if you do exactly what they would do at PSA to grade your card, i.e.use cenrering tool and a bright led light to find scuffs and scratches and it falls under their parameters for being a 10 they'll give you a 9 because PSA is 100% opinion based and extremely biased hopefully your order gets the person feeling generous there's 1000+ 10s on some cards that they will just give you a 9 to keep pops down they will also damage your cards and not hold themselfs accountable for it they have the heights turn around and cost the most to grade a card that isn't under $500 Beckett is one fee for any card no price limit you choose that tier you pay for that their theres no oh your cards more valuble pay us more so we handle it with more care
