I was in Prague for NYE 2024 and it was a lot like this, except the streets were narrower and the buildings older. The explosions built up for about two hours, climaxed at midnight, then slowly and loudly unclimaxed until about 1am. I was in Berlin 12 hours later and it was quiet, gray, and the remains of spent fireworks were everywhere.
First NYE in Berlin. First 5 minutes was so nice to see, enjoyed it fully. But not sure what i felt after having these for hours… A realistic walk, danke!
I’ve been in Berlin for the New Year’s Eve 2019/2020 with my ex girlfriend. We’ve been walking along the Berlin Wall and Alexanderplatz and all over around the city for hours. It was great. I really like Berlin
This feels intense! Never stopping explosions and sirens
And it’s not even #neukölln
Imagine that 24/7 as a child…
A classical Berlin New Year’s celebration I would say
It was crazy … when I started the walk the most people were already done with their fireworks 💥

Yeah true, especially when you’re not used to it it can be a little to much

Not the most beautiful spot for sure

The German capital Berlin displays beautiful fireworks like 💯🔔🤝OK my friend
Yap, this is CRAZY!
For some the most joyful thing and for others just annoying, haha
Nice! Thanks for posting! I lived in Berlin back in the 80’s when in the U.S. Army when the wall was up.
So you should see it again. Lots of things changed back then
Thanks for the invite! @@UrbanRoamer
