… Growth requires saying "yes" to the work. Also reminds me of the provocative book by David Bahnsen called Full Time in which he talks about the purpose of work for the Christian and how it's not just sacred vs secular but seeing work from a whole, biblical perspective. For the Christian, there’s no separating who we are from what we do when front-facing the world. We actively live out faith whether we realize it or not. We’re not divided beings, rather we’re made whole and complete in Christ. What a gift to be able to share that wholeness with others! Work is another reflection of how we live out our faith while also being transformed by it. Amazing 🤩!
Work is a good thing, and it's even more important to do it as unto God. Perhaps even there we are finding that we demonstrate the love of God through the actions in the ordinary everyday of our work and interactions with people.
