PSA: They make “Wireless Ethernet” wall plugs on amazon. My friend uses them and she hasn’t had any problems so far. There’s two wall plugs, one you plug in next to the modem and one you plug in next to your console. After they’re plugged into the wall, they connect through the power lines. (You’ll need 2 short Ethernet cables to connect the plugs to both your console and your modem)
I got a standard ps4 slim for christmas two years ago, and used my birthday money two months later for a monitor, and used this counter top single shelf in my room to put my monitor in. I borrowed one of my dining room table chairs, and made myself a little setup. But I couldn't get a good Wi-Fi connection since my wired router is in my living room and my room is the farthest away from it. I would purchase a long wire, but my parents wont let me lay it all the way to the living room because it looks "sloppy." I have to use a wireless connection, and i lag all over every once in a while, but its still fine by me. Though I dont have the BEST gear on the market, but i still get gold medals for elims, damage, and objective time as a genji and hammond main. Thats why i found this video so relatable, and i hope some person reading this might be dealing with the same problem.
This has helped me. Funny story: so my brother was here at my house and he's also a gamer like me. He played in the other room and I would play on the TV on my couch. I was watching this video and I'm thinking "hmm, I probably have some of this stuff, let me go look in the other room to see" I walked into the room and then it hit me: he had a desk with a monitor and a headset. Guess my brother actually new what he was doing. I've seen him play on that setup, but I didn't understand until this video. Thanks bro you wack!
Queen_Magnifique sorry if I ask too much but aren’t there more than 3 types of kontrol freeks? Like small, medium, and big? If so which ones are better for overwatch?
Only issue is that OW tries to place you around the rank you were last season, so if you place into plat one season (as a healer) and you can’t climb because your dps refuse to switch or your tanks rush in and die immediately, then you will probably just be stuck there forever. No matter how much you practice as a healer, sometimes you can’t cover up for the lack of damage your team outputs and are just stuck in that one rank. Anytime you are actually about to place higher during placements, there are guaranteed to be throwers and rage quitters to ruin your sr.
I don't know about Tip # 1 and 4... I play on a big screen TV, and on the couch, and I play just fine. It's very comfortable just sitting down on the couch, playing on the big screen. If I wanted to play on a desk and on a smaller monitor, I'd play on the PC version (I play Overwatch on both console and PC). But to each their own. I guess it's important for people to find their ideal set up and they might get better. Just make sure they're playing on a comfortable setting/environment and they'll be fine. Other ways to get better on console: -Use a wired controller -Turn off on-screen notifications -If playing on Switch, turn on gyro controls -Turn off rumble (as it may be distracting to some, not all) -Turn on Game Mode on the TV

For the Ethernet cable, you don’t have to get a super long one, you can get a WiFi extender and you can plug Ethernet into that
that or a power line ethernet, which allows you to connect via the houses power.
if you do that then you are still using wifi and getting its drawbacks.
the powerline ethernet adapter is the correct choice.
