5 years later and this is the most informative video ever. Thank you so much 🎉🎉🎉
When you turn on the bleed on it allows the ink to go over the edge so that if the cut is off a bit it won’t show the white edge. It will look like a blob when you print but the cut will be crisp.
Is there a way to make it cut, with or without bleed, so that you do have a white outline like a regular sticker?
Whiskey Black Try putting an „almost white“ (not 100% white) border on your stickers when you design them. That should work.
Do you ever get stickers that aren’t cut perfectly? Like 1/8-1/4 inch off? My bleed is on too. Also, my cricut is calibrated perfectly.
Finally found a video that shows me from start to end, showing printing from printer and cutting on the cricut. Thanks.
i have just started dabbling in sticker making and i have watched so many videos and i think yours by far are the absolute best. im very grateful for your channel!
Thank you for a great video. I really appreciate your straight and to the point video. Usually when I’m looking for a RUclips video I’m in the middle of my project. I don’t have time to watch someone drink their coffee and tell us the 100 reasons why they do this particular thing, lol. I definitely am subscribing!
Thank you so much. I’m a newbie and I am trying to learn as much as I can. I honestly didn’t know what I was going to need I thought I could use my iPad. I have found out that it would be easier to have a computer. You were the first instructor that showed me that I needed a printer. I appreciate you going through all the steps
FINALLY ! I understand how to do this after watching sooooo many other videos. You made it easy.
Great tutorial. No needless chatter or background music. I subscribed! Thank you.
Very helpful video. I had never attempted print/cut, but after watching was able to print/cut a picture of my son's puppy and put it on iron on! Thanks so much
This video is actually pretty old already and still so relevant, great little detail info. Love it! 👏🏼❣️
Oh my goodness! Thank you! This was extremely helpful. I keep seeing print and cut but had zero clue how. I didn’t even know there is a special vinyl for it! So it is called Printable Vinyl? Must get some!
I just got my cricut and now have come across your video am I find it so helpful. Thank you
This was such a helpful tutorial. I was able to use Print and Cut to create a sticker for my bullet journal on only my 2nd day with my Cricut. Thank you!
Ok thank you
Great tutorial! Been trying this for about a month now and can't get my printer to work with DS. Just watched a calibration video so going to try that next and then try to print again. Otherwise, I'm going to get a new printer so thank you for sharing your printer model with us. Thank you for the easy to follow instructions. I appreciate that you didn't rush through it and were very detailed. Love your videos and will definitely be watching more and following you. Have a great day and thanks again!! 💐❣💐❣
Omg! Don’t know if it was beginners luck but had success with print and cut today, l was so excited 😃
When you have it all grey you don’t need to reinsert the image just hit the undo button top left.
I am brand new to this and am loving your tutorials
Thank you so much!!!
As she was doing that, that’s exactly what I was saying out loud lol.
Thank you I tried this last night and it did not work- I didn't know I had to remove the background with the wand tool. thank you very much for that tip.
I cant wait to make some new crafts!
Thanks all this time I've been printing on regular paper. I've had my cricut for 2 weeks. I learned several tips from your video.
This is a great tutorial! Straight forward, concise and to the point. Thank you from another newbie!
Thank you for this tutorial... I just started using my maker... I still am trying to learn all the lingo... I couldn't understand the print/then cut.. This really helps.. I have so many questions...but this has helped immensely!
This is the BEST explanation I have found for the Print then Cut feature. Thank you sooo much!
Thank you so much Corinne- I am a newbie, printed my design on my printer independently of my design space and then tried to line it up and cut it. Rookie mistake #1. Then I tried printing without the bleed on as you suggested & the type was way too faint... but I the 3rd time I printed it (on Design Space) I used the option to use my printer preferences Epson 2550 and used High Quality Print, and emphasis thin type and it came out crisp & sharp. I did not know my beautiful cut vinyl would not be suitable for the coffee cups I was planning to put them on.... so glad I watched your video until the end (or I totally would have wasted my time & given my "peeps" an inferior gift.
This was so helpful to me being the beginner I am ty
This is the best tutorial I have seen for this! Thank you so much!
Finally, I think I got it.. Best video yet. Thanks👍
I just upgraded to a Cricut Explore Air and now my mind is blown with what it can do. Wow!
LOVE THIS VIDEO! Thank you for explaining everything from start to finish, i was nervous at first but after watching this video i feel a little more confident 💗
You're instructional skills are da bomb! Thank y ou!
Laura DV they really are!
Thanks, I was a little nervous of this feature on the Cricut. You explained it great.
Same! I'm a newbie and was totally intimidated by this feature lol
Find your tutorials great, straight to point and easy to follow
Thank you for the simple explanation! I was so happy to find someone that could clearly explain for a beginner!
Great video. I haven't tried print and cut yet with my cricut. Now I can't wait to get off work and try it.
Love the vibrant colors of your prints!
I bought the explorer air 2 last year as well as the crafters companion Gemini jr. It has been about a year or very close to it and I am to scared to open the box. I have know idea where to start, but I know it's the card making I had wanted it for so long for. But the transfer sheets, foils, iron on glitters ..... oh my. The thought about opening things up both excite me and terrify me. I want to emboss, but then there's the heat thingy and so for last year I bought the monthly make a card kit- sends you basically everything to make 8 to 10 cards a month. Well I just started my subscription back up as my dad passed, then hubby & I bought a home - most crafting stuff is still packed in garage. But I really really want to get busy with it - one of the other reasons was to cut fabric quicker to make quilts. My dad bought me a new sewing machine for my birthday and we had no room as we lived together with my mom n dad and our 2 kids then hubby and me. Parents had upstairs and we had downstairs, worked out perfect. I just didnt have crafting or sewing space like I will have soon. Your work is beautiful. I have a lap top but not on it much, we have wireless printer but have to get things set up. I'm just a hands on learner and scared I'll really mess things up.
This is awesome!!! I came across your video when I was looking for something else, I’m so glad I opened your video and watched!!!! I was wondering how to get these types of projects bc I’ve seen photos of projects like this but didn’t get it. I’ll definitely be watching more of your videos, I really like how you explain things you’re a great teacher! Thank you for your video.
MVP!!!! I cant wait to start making more stuff
nice tutorial, just a quick tip on the cut settings..if you add an offset line to your images prior to cutting it will cut only the offset and not cut into your images. Thanks for sharing ;)
luv2skrap it does not cut into my images. And if you mean cutting close to the image around the petals thats how i wanted it. Also you cannot do offset in cricut design space.
Corinne Blackstone how did you make it do it didn’t cut out the blank spaces within each flower? I’m trying to cut out stickers that are rectangle shape with info inside, and it keeps wanting to cut around all the inside info. Other than using the erase tool when I upload (which is tedious) I was wondering if there’s a faster way. Thanks!
Many thanks for the print then cut tutorial! You helped me create a super-cute card for a friend!
Thank you for this tutorial! I’m brand new to Cricut and I’m ecstatic to learn! This is mind blowing! I had no idea this was an option! I have the Maker and so much to learn!! 🥰 I’m hopeful and eager! I did my first project with the iron on tic-tac-toe bags and that’s all I know right now but I mastered that after 60ish bags 😘
Thank you for explaining this in a way that its easy to understand. 👏🏼👏🏼😊
Like Alicia before me, I came across your video by accident and it's great! You explain things really well and in great detail. Thank you.
awww Thanks for watching!
I think if you make sure your paper is placed precisely on the mat it probably won't cut slightly offset and end up cutting your leaves. Great tutorial.
Kimberly Jones its because bleed was off.
Omg i totally loved this tutorial!! thank you so much!! Ive been questioning how to do this for so long!!
Super helpful! Thank you. Also, love to see another Blackhawks fan
Thank you for a to-the-point video!
keep the tutorials coming please! Thank you for this!
Roz Weiss i sure will! Thank you :)
Hi Corinne. Woohoo I have got my cricuit on lay bye at last $570.00 will be able to join in now 😉
Hi I just learned you can use self adhesive cold adhesive laminating paper, then they will last longer.
Thanks you explain it better than him.
👍👍
These are so pretty
Omg! Thank you so much. I’ve been looking for a while for a tutorial like this. You are the best! New subby for sure!
You can just hit the undo button and it will go back to the color image, you do not have to reload the image.
Yeah mine doesn't have that issue either
I was saying the same thing when I watched this.
I was about to post this, but seen your comment
Exactly and you can also just type in the rotation you want rather than grabbing "the swirly tool" to rotate lol
I just got an Explore Air 2 and am so intimidated. I used to use a Fiskars Fuse manually, but I love what the Explore Air 2 can do.
love your tutorials... all are amazing!
Thank you so much!
Just found your youtube and i'm going through allllll your videos. You channel is so helpful!!! Can we do this same print and cut method for custom fork/spoon toppers using cardstock?
Yep!
Wow, Cricut amazes me
Tfs! I’ve been interested in getting one and wanted to see what I could do with it. New sub. I really appreciate your attention to detail 👍
By the way, this was super helpful. Thank you so much.
Thank You! Your tutorial was simple to understand. I enjoyed watching, will be looking for more tutorials by you.
I loved your tutorial!!! Thank you 🙏
Great Tutorial...super easy to follow!
Hi Corrine. Love you tutorials! Can you show us how to make peonies wallpaper with our Cricut? We are redoing our nieces room & need to save money as much as possible. We want to make one room the focal point with peonies.
You would need a removable vinyl and honestly printable vinyl would not be a great choice on a wall. It will ruin the paint and drywall
Thank you for the great tutorial!!!!!!! Cant wait to try!!!
Thanks for making learning this so easy!
I am so glad I watched this again! I did complete the project for my customer..she was happy with it...it was a watercolor wreath for a 6x6 block of wood painted white so I just printed it and cut it in a square and attached to the block of wood....I did not know or remember the images could be cut out one by one...I’m so excited...oh and I just bought a new printer...saved myself some brain cells! Possibilities are endless...I have the Cricut material as well are you aware of any other brands? Just curious...thanks again! Just realized I started new message I was the last one to comment😊
Great tutorial. I just had one question, how would I add test to a print and cut - like a name on a clipart image & have it cut out as one
Flatten the additional images to the original
Thank you for teaching! May I know if the smart iron-on can do the same?
No smart iron on is not able to be printed on
Great teacher. Definitely subscribing to your channel
Love ur tutorial, can I ask where did u find the flower file ?
Loved watching!!🌺
Great the way you explain everything 👍🏽👍🏽💕💕
Great tutorial!! I was looking for this. Thank you for sharing ! I subscribed !!
Were these graphics purchased? Can you link to this set of images 😀
Amazing video !!!
Would you be able to put that sticker on s cup with epoxy over it ? Or is that just the kind of paper you used , (with that question) to they have different kind of printable vinyl so I can use them for cups

I understand that you can't get these wet and you would not want to use them for outdoors. But what about applying them to wood and then doing a mod-podge coat over the top? Would that protect them?
Likely the mod podge will cause the ink to run and bleed
I finally understand - thank you so much!
Such good timing for me to find this tutorial! I make signs all the time ...I just had a lady show me an Etsy image with these exact types of flowers and images and she thought I could paint them lol...I’m not an artist 🙈 I have been stubborn bc I have an older printer and of course one color is low so it won’t print anything...I never use it...anyway sorry bout that...now that I see how beautiful your flowers printed I will invest in another cartridge...now my question (finally I know)since it’s a print then cut...you do not have to flattened image...is that correct...now question 2 why even though in layers panel for words I click write instead of cut do they come out hollow...not colored in? Driving crazy! Thanks for great tutorial!
Can I have it just cut the whole image and not separate the individual flowers to heat transfer?
Yes if you would like to
I’m still thinking about this, so if you suggest a heat press, would you need to just apply the printable HTV directly on the t-shirt and apply with the heat press.
Looks awesome what kind of printer did u say u have
Thank you so much for this video. Is it possible to just cut a image already printed? Like something from a coloring book for example?
Thank you?
No it needs to have those registration marks to know where to cut
This looks super helpful, I’m looking into purchasing a Cricut, which one would you recommend?
I did a video about the different machines so I would start here. ruclips.net/video/_DJm1jiLmiI/видео.html
I watched your video and I think I can do this..thanks for the step by steps...
Debbie Vieyra you can totally do this!!
I love the picture you used do you have a link where I can get it please you are awesome teacher.
I found it on google
This video was extremely helpful! Thank you!
hiya, this is a fab video... can i ask what cricut are you using here and what would you recommend ? x
This is the explore air 2. I really like this machine or the maker
Thank you for a great how-to video. I'm getting my Cricut Maker tomorrow , can't wait! subscribed
Hi Corinne !
You had said that this is not intended for outdoor use, but I have a friend who wants stickers for his skis (quite outdoor)- is there any way around this? Buying a specific kind of vinyl or any suggestions you may have? Thank you!!! Awesome tutorial very helpful!!!
651vinyl.com just released a printable vinyl that is waterproof
Can you print then cut white vinyl? Or just paper? What paper did you use? I loved the video and am going to get busy with this!
You can print on printable vinyl. It has to be a printable product and not just like a oracal 651 vinyl
Thank you! This was a great video!
Noticed something in your recent uploads and now I just have to say it... Go Hawks!
Hi Corinne, your video is super helpful.....thanks for sharing. I also wanted to know how to cut an uploaded svg file without cutting the letters individually?
I have a lot of videos that discuss this. You need to flatten the design to a shape
@@CorinneBlackstone thank you for your response, I am so new at this but I will most definitely check your video's about flattening.
Thanks for the video😃. Can u please do a video on how to put 2 sheets of stickers on a page and also how to put your business name on their like a header? Thanks so much
Omg thank you thank you!! I even have the same printer as you this is so helpful!! Wish me luck I'm going to try lol
You can do it!!
Great for planners!!!!
Love your video.. Learned a lot in a few minutes.
Waiting for my tools to come in the mail.
I am wanting to learn how to print my adhesive vinyl transfer tape paper logo design. do you have a tutorial for that?
I have a lazerjet printer. and I just bought my cricut machine.
Please help. Thank you so much.
What kind of paper did you use for your printer? That is the part of this journey I am lost in and I am sure that the paper is the most obvious. {LOL} And also, this video gives me so much hope that I can do this! Thank you. ❤️🙂
This was cricut printable vinyl
Would you be able to put this on a cup then epoxy over it, so it doesnt get wet? It was a great video!!
No. the ink would run on this product. I would recommend looking at this video because you can use this on a cup just don't use the laminate. ruclips.net/video/UG7uF2VUPrQ/видео.html
Thanks, for the tutorial it's AWESOME !!
is the Printer a Laser or Ink jet or does it matter which one you use?
Thanks, again
It matters based on what you want to print on. Most printable vinyl and htv requires and inkjet printer but if it's just cardstock you can use a laser printer.
Excellent tutorial!! You are a great teacher!! Thank you :)
