I just love how we weave in some music theory. Just the right amount. You keep it fun, but you’re actually teaching music, and not just how to memorize a new song. I really appreciate you. And how about Chasing Cars acoustic? There’s several great versions out there.
Love your teaching style, informative without being condescending to beginners. Thank you I learnt so much just from you jotting the scale down and referring back to it. Best wishes from the uk
Thank u thank you. Im waiting for my acustic guitar! 2 more days. I took classes but, that was a long time ago. I will be learning from scratch but i know i can do it. I love the guitar. U will teach me with you videos
I know this was six months ago. I have just recently found your page and I love it! Pearl Jam (Really anything With Mccready) Radiohead Red hot chili peppers Stone temple pilots And Alice in chains But for future radiohead tunes (paranoid Android would be amazing to learn (: Again thank you and love this
Only thing you missed out on is thom plays an a sus 2 and hammers on to make the full a major chord after the first strum. Right before he switches to the a/f# he moves his pinkie to play b3 so it’s like an a sus 4? I’m not sure the name of that particular chord. The way he plays his b chord is weird as well but you could play it the way you taught as well
great song and great class... don't know if it's doable, and if that would be a request by more ppl, but, whenever you can, it would be nice to have you play at least a good chunk of the song, in the beginning or at the end of the video, so we could try to play together and than try to play together with the official recording after.
Hi Ryan, great lesson. I like that you included the music theory. Have you seen the Holly Humberstone video her playing this song on her RUclips channel? I was looking on RUclips for a lesson that matches how she is playing this song because, dang, it sounds good, she uses the whole fret board, and it looks easy to play. I am thinking that her guitar must not be in standard tuning. Any ideas?
You have a unique and very effective teaching style. I hope people find you brother
You did PeeWee, and that makes me happy :) cheers and thanks for the shout!
