At first I hated scraggy, but then I learned to love him because he’s a little, rowdy, little lizard boy! how could you not love him?
Not to mention the little bonding moment he had with axew
I don't blame Scraggy one bit for missing all those Focus Blasts. He was just showing one of the most game accurate things the anime has ever done.

Scraggy had a very fun personality, which made both him and Snivy very fun to watch
Scraggy is the embodiment of "woke up and chose violence", picking fights right out of the egg lol
Scraggy had SO much potential to evolve into Scrafty. Yet, he was already strong as is. I loved Scraggy so much that I added it on my team in Black and White.
My favorite Dark type
Ngl, he’s like another buizel, powerful, but doesn’t need evolution to battle well

Scraggy is SUCH an underrated Ash Mon AND Pokémon in general! I wish he evolved so bad, and having him cheer for Haxorous would have been amazing
Of all Ash’s Pokemon, Scraggy is probably the one I always forget he caught. His bond with Axew was very fun, as well as the gag with him not being able to control Focus Blast properly. I do wish he could’ve reunited Haxorus in Journeys, though I do headcanon he watched Iris’ battle against Cynthia during the Masters 8 rooting for Haxorus.
I want to see Ash's Corphish next! He's definitely the comic relief from his Hoenn Pokemon and definitely one of his strongest fighters.
I love the friendship between ash’s scraggy & Iris axew who later becames a haxorus in Pokémon journeys.

I wish Scraggy could’ve seen his best friend fully evolved in person. It would’ve been the perfect motivation for Scraggy to get even stronger and evolve into Scrafty.

scraggy is the definition of MOOD, such a shame he never got to evolve. definitely would've been a hoot, and even character development in the newer stronger form. alas it was not meant to be, but we can always dream...
Fun Fact, this was Ash's first Dark type pokemon ever before Krookodile and Greninja came along of course.

You finally covered all of Ash’s Unova Pokémon! In my opinion Scraggy got better wins than some of Ash’s other Unova team members.
Honestly I’ve wondered how much stronger scraggy has gotten since the end of black and white and how scraggy would react when he finds out axew evolved
It would be really awesome if Scrafty had gotten a third-stage evolution

Scraggy being given to Iris actually sounds like a good idea. Imagine during the battle between Ash and Iris, and Ash being shocked that Scraggy is now a Scrafty and is stronger than ever. Would be an interesting battle since I think that may be the only time Ash would be battling his former pokemon in an official battle.
Scraggy tying with larvitar is not as embarrassing as pikachu losing to snivy.
Scraggy is my favorite Pokemon because of the anime, just upset he wasn't used more.

Very well written mon. I really love that the show, for the most part, understands to not just evolve pokemon for the sake of it. BW was awesome
I still wished that Scraggy had evolved into Scrafty back in Pokemon: Black and White Series or in Pokemon Journey would be better because if he met his old friend Iris's Axew which evolved off screen into Haxourus then Scraggy would decided to evolved and get stronger just like Haxourus.

Scraggy is right there next to Snivy where if they got more screentime and potentially evolved they definitely had the potential to be serious powerhouses that or even just not having to deal with being rotated around.
If you think about it donphan noivern lucario and scraggy are all still technically babies with scraggy being the only one who didn’t evolve but I wish scraggy learned dark type moves

I really wish the anime showed Scraggy more attention. It would have been awesome to see it and Axew grow and evolve together.
I think Scraggy was a good Pokemon and I wish it got more Screentime since it was Ash’s First Dark type and it was a shame Scraggy didn’t get a Proper Goodbye by the end of Black and White and you know when it was Struggling to Master Focus Blast I’m surprised that Iris’s Didn’t offer for Her Excadrill help Train Scraggy’s Focus Blast since he also learned it and I wish Scraggy reunited with Axew in Journeys to see he had Evolved into Haxorous next do a Video on Clemont’s Chespin next.

If only Ash's Scraggy was in Sinnoh. That would've been a cool match against Roark's Cranidos.
I love Scraggy although I wish it did better and evolved. It could’ve beeb tied to Focus blast by having him learn to focus & instill more power into his blast, transforming it into dark pulse before evolving to Scrafty.
Honestly scraggy joining iris would make sense. Of course theres axew, but also the scraggy line learns a good bit of dragon moves, are lizards and are in the dragon egg group so I can see it fitting her.
It would be cool if iris caught it or if she did a trade with ash did a trade like when ash did a trade with dawn in sinnoh.
My Scraggy would have the following moves:
- Throat Chop
- Iron Head
- Thunder Punch
- Brick Break
I love Scraggy, he was one of favorite of Ash's Unova Pokémon. Just wish he had evolved into Scrafty and learn some Dark Moves.
Most of Satoshi's Pokemon are treated kindly by Satoshi, so I truly think from the bottom of my heart that Satoshi was the best protagonist.
Yea I used Scraggy on my play through in BW/2 because of the anime and its ability moxie.
"That's a Focus Blast, huh? Where'd the focus go?"
Scraggy is another showcase of why Ash having a bigger team is very detrimental to a Pokemon. Since the Unova starters and Pikachu get priority, Scraggy has to fight 4 other Pokemon (and Palpitoad I guess) for slots 5 or 6. As a result of this, his most impressive wins are a Vanillish and and the elemental monkeys. Well, at least he was still a fun presence.
I wasn't a big fan of the black and white series but I like the little goofball it would have been cool to see shaggy evolve 😜😊

It wouldve been cool if Ash gifted scraggy to Iris at the end of BW. It would Keep the best friends together, give iris an ice type counter, and truly show how good friends they are

The Writers knew how bad of accuracy focus blast had that he barely hit his target but scraggy was a little funny fella wish he evolved.

Was sad that Pokémon eggs stoped matching the species contained within, in Black & White. Was always such a nice touch that the show could aford.
Though I do see the point of having it generic, for marketing build up, and matching the games.

As much as I liked the pokemon I just can't bring myself to like Ash's Scraggy just because of how little action it got in the anime overall, Scraggy was very much identical to Gible from Sinnoh journeys; an unevolved first-stage scrappy gremlin, added to the team relatively late into the series, barely got action due to the circumstances, and for both of them the most meaningful event was them *_mastering a very powerful move that they struggled aiming for most of the series_*

im surprised it took till the unova anime for ash to get a dark type pokemon and then he gets 2 in the same generation
Fun fact, ashes, scraggy is the only main character Pokémon to come from an egg to not evolve. Really ashamed too, especially when we look at what an absolute beast Axew has become. It honestly feels like it’s story was incomplete. There was no build up to it mastering focus blast, and we didn’t get to truly see it become the powerhouse that it always believed it to be ever since it hatched.
That is quite insulting, since Donphan, Noivern and Lucario fully evolved.
@@saitproject don’t forget togetic, glaceon, blissy, and quillava. (Yes I know some of them are not fully evolved, but they have at least once) Actually I just realized Snowy didn’t, but it could’ve evolved if it wanted to, because Lilly has an ice stone.
