If you depart from Torokko Kameoka like in this video, choose the left side as it offers better view. If you depart from Arashiyama, choose the right side. These two should be an even number seats. Example: 2,4,6,8 etc. Happy journey!

Becareful that station for SAGANO is kameoka TOROKKO. Not JR kameoka station.
