I'm in love with this song
So I was driving from Cornwall to Dover a few days ago and listening to BBC2.
I'm sorry to say that, apart from two or three classics, all the other tunes did not get me excited.
And then comes THIS song.
I turn the volume up gradually, as the song plays, and then I listen carefully at the end, to hear who's this singer.
It's in that precise moment that my children in the back start yelling and all I can understand is "Alaska".
So, after I get to my destination, I google "Alaska singer - I'm gonna make it past the midnight song". But of course all the wrong songs and artists come up.
But a few days later my solitary neuron starts working and I look at BBC2 schedule for that day, to discover the artist's name was Pixie Lott.
Now I've listened to THIS song a couple of dozen times.
Great music, great arrangement, great lyrics and a great personality.
