As much as I do wish he never left Starkid Im glad he did cause now he is here on Conan and doing bigger and better things.
I appreciate that Darren is trying to empathise with women, but he generalises a lot there. A lot of women hate wearing high heels and feel as awkward and clumsy in them as lot of men do. Also, high-heeled shoes make it harder to move quickly or walk at all on certain surfaces (sandy, wet or uneven ground), so calling them empowering when they can be so restrictive seems contradictory to me.

So we did, and we started watching it and I was immediately EXTREMELY confused xDD (we only pretty much watched the first 5 minutes and then turned it off hahaha). Cut to about 15 years later, being musical-theater obsessed as I am, I finally actually watched the movie (and bootlegs of the live show) and fell in love with it :P But it will always make me laugh that I have such a vivid memory of renting it when I was 11 thinking it must be Harry Potter-related! I asked my friend recently if she remembered it too, and she didn't, but I swear it happened! lol
