The both of you not taking Wes Unseld is a damn tragedy, won league MVP as a rookie and doesn’t get drafted 💀also if the Wizards move to Alexandria, Logan has to become a Wizards fan because his “Virginia doesn’t have any sport teams” excuse will be dead. Lastly Wes Unseld > Elvin Hayes simply based off the eye test, he won the finals MVP averaging single digit points for a reason.
Why would we not have Curry on these teams? Obviously not the overall player as some of these guys but a volume 44% 3 pt shooter, great ball handler who is also good passer and opens the entire offense open? Like bringing him in off the bench for the potential Curry, MJ, Bird, *whoever*, Robinson. One of the few options to have any reasonable modern basketball lineup in this draft even if you give up some D. This is the difference between one team almost having not a single player to reliably stretch the floor, and the other having two of the greatest shooters ever. MJ with space like that would be damn frightening. I think it more than makes up for Curry getting picked on, not to mention you have insane defenders to help cover him, it isn't like Oscar and Magic wouldn't me trying to dominate the ball anyways.
I really hate how those lineups can't shoot. Amazing players for their rookie seasons, but I feel like there was not much real team building going on even though there were some attempts to justify the picks lol. I think one player out of the ten could shoot? Coulda justified a player who didn't have some amazing statistical season to make those teams better IMO, ESPECIALLY when it comes to a great shooter, they would only play better on teams like these. To be fair though, it is surprising how small the pool is of great rookies who can shoot lol. Great pod

My all time rookie starting lineup:
PG: Oscar Robertson
SG: MJ
SF: Larry Bird
PF: Tim Duncan
C: David Robinson
I also believe that Oscar Robertson should go first overall (putting this in before I watch the video). Not only is it imo the greatest rookie season of all time, he is also the only good rookie PG that comes to mind. (Edit: somehow I completely forgot about Magic. Oscar was still a far better rookie, but Magic wasn’t bad)
Also, I’m torn between Robinson and Wemby for my center. I believe Robinson had the stronger rookie year, but Wemby seems better for floor spacing.

@@Nyjeezy Elgin Baylor was an elite scorer and rebounder with far better efficiency in his rookie season. Obviously after their rookie seasons Lebron is way better, but Baylor had a criminally underrated rookie season.
