One tip I haven’t seen mentioned anywhere, maybe obvious to gamers, but as a newbie I didn’t know and figured it out by accident. If you’re stuck on a boss in the forest, you can change the default to a previous level. Useful for completing those daily time limited challenges as well as gaining rewards and just general practice. Also, there’s a training series in the dueling club menu, one of the many menus that isn’t obvious, and they offer some useful game specific tips. Really helpful for newbies. The individual cards also have menus, and there are practice demonstrations available, though limited because you’re fighting a dummy, and there’s no defense required. That too, however, also has a menu where you can increase the number of dummy targets. So many hidden menus. Explore each page and click on everything to see what’s offered.
Also, when you're forming your deck, here's an option in the upper right hand corner when viewing you cards and you can select which card where it says "Recommended Decks". That will take you to a section where other players have made decks for dueling, or the forbidden forest and you can copy those decks into your own. You might have to adjust if you don't have a card listed.
Could you please do an in-depth video focusing on echoes? I think that’s one of the most confusing aspects. How do the cards that come with upgrading effect your game and how do you decide what cards relate to them? Is it better to have cards that relate to them or cards that are just better in dueling? How do they affect the companion cards, particularly of the same character? Thanks for the tips you did give. They prevented me from making huge mistakes. That menu is one of many in the game that isn’t obvious and needs explanation for us newbies. Because it’s only a colored dot, I didn’t even know the echoes had levels at first. I’m an old school gamer (pc quest games and the Nintendo Saga era), and this type of gameplay is really different.

Can you do some smaller videos on understanding the cards? I found that there are times I have no cards available because they take so long to refill. I really don’t understand the stats on the card. Their function is the only clear thing. Also can you show what you mean by coordinating with your team on attack and how to creat a team? I feel like there is so many things that are left for you to understand without references.
yeah i am expanding my library of videos daily so im sure i will get to these very soon. the number at the top of the card is the cost of the card and you replenish mana over time. this is why you cant use cards.
Great job, I found the information valuable. One idea for a video would be if there are just good cards that go into a lot of different decks. There may not be, and assuming cards are balanced every now and then the “best” decks will change, but often in card games there are just some solid cards that work in a lot of decks. Echo upgrading is unclear to me right now, everyone says only upgrade ones that get good cards an dare epic or higher, but when you are new knowing the good cards to look out for requires getting that experience first. I suppose save upgrading echoes until later. On your getting through the story…does it ever pay to slow down and not skip the cutscenes? I suppose if I found it interesting I’d pay attention but so far the story in season 1 hasn’t been interesting. BTW, great tip on do upgrade cards to a certain level (you said 8-9) so you can try them out and level your spellbook. Just waiting to see what cards you want before leveling at all wasn’t working for me.

Again i have ideas to come with videos on echos and that so keep a look out! I just skip it all to be honest but i do that with most games! One question that is driving me crazy is how exactly does the Thank You Note farm work lol it says 10 a day but also says 50, what are the daily/weekly caps?

Is there a setting you need to enable the remaining Forbidden Forest reward counter? I can only track the thank yous in the shop which is slightly annoying to hop to a new zone just to check and hop back to start a new run.

I don't believe the more expensive one is. It's double the price and you really only get a hat and a lego/mythic card extra. 30% gold is ok but I don't think it's worth it. Normal pass I have gotten each season. It's probably one of the best values in the game

Yeah just playing and pressing things is something I try to stress a lot. Playing and finding things yourself is always a great way to learn!

No they changed this in a patch since making the video.
