    RIP Snorri Sturolson, intelligent literary & poetic genius, without him we would know nearly nothing about Viking history & legends.
    Respect❤✔💯

      I was told by three psychics that I'm snorri reborn. The funny thing is my name is Corey. So you can call me Snorri Corey. My true opinion is all lies, don't believe in past lives. It was very odd having people come up to me and say did you know that you were this person in your past life.

      Are you saying that 3 psychics totally randomly not knowing eachother or ANYTHING about you just told you that ? Wow! Amazing! Amazing 😍 Tell me more ?@@coreymckeever4638

      That right there Is an exaggeration, though it is true that a large marginal of information about viking history and religion comes from him as a source, a noticeable part Is preserved by Christians' and on rune stones.

    Skjalden, who created all the living things in norse mythology and there's an explanation to prehistory?

    • @Skjalden
      @Skjalden  7 лет назад +3

      I think that the rest of the living things in norse mythology, might have been from Ymir's dead body, but it doesn't say so we can't know for sure.
      There is no explanation about prehistory before what I talked about in the created of the world. The creation in norse mythology kinda reminds me of the big bang theory.

    • @gregory7958
      @gregory7958 7 лет назад +1

      Yeah, it also reminds me of the Greek mythology. A goat raised Zeus, who sucked in her breast milk.
      There's any reliable source stating that anyone can worship the norse gods?

    • @Skjalden
      @Skjalden  7 лет назад +3

      it doesn't say that only a specific group can do it. The Gods were also worshipped in different ways depending were you lived. Some may mostly have worshipped Thor and others Odin. It is not a monolithic faith. I'm off it is late, good night :)

      If, so that would be great ! Then my economical situation would be far better, living in Norway instead of Iceland. :-) Snorri was born in Iceland, from icelandic parents. Killed in iceland, history say, his last famous words were: "Eigi skal höggva. "

    He wasn't really Christian or he wouldn't have been so corrupt, I'm sure he played the part though
