- That we're like animals, there's war up there everywhere, its in the blood, its natural - peace that's an accident, its what IS! when you're pushed - killing is as easy as breating You stop killing at one place its starts at another but it's okay coz you're killing for your country. But it ain't your country that's askin, its few guys on top who want it. Old men start it, young men fight it, nobody wins, everybody in the middle dies and nobody tells the truth, and God's gonna make that all go away??!?!
Fighting changes things not words!!!
I just can't believe how they deleted this phenomenal dialogue from John Rambo
Old men start it, young men fight it, nobody wins, everyone in the middle dies, and nobody tells, the truth. Amen
Maybe for our next war instead of sending our soldiers we should just send the politicians. At least they wouldn't be missed. Instead of young men like my best friend in middle and high school who was like a brother and he died for what?
There is a classic volume on the very subject the John Rambo character alludes to in this scene. It was written in the 1930s by General S.L. Butler, one of the highest-ranking Marines in the Corps at the time of his retirement, and a two-time recipient of the Medal of Honor. Butler's short book was called "War is a Racket." Every young person contemplating going off to be in the military and perhaps fight at the tip of the spear out to read this short-but-powerful book, which is still in print, many years after its author's death.
Send the leader's out one on one with baseball bats. That would end War.
Dmann4Christ your friend died for what he believed in
Dmann4Christ. amen to that!
Dmann4Christ What would politicians fight with? Briefcases?!
"I feel like this is all my fault." - Arrogant self righteous woman
"It is." - Man who pays the price
Accurate.
Tales of a war veteran, the words he said are wise and a warning. John Rambo has been through hell many times. Christian Aid Workers knows the "risk" but those are justs words, in reality it's horrible, blood and death. This movie show it's an strong example how close reality is about warfare, POW, torture, rape and heartless actions. I never wish to see war or feel about it,
Telling a snowflake the deal cause they have no common sense.
old men start war, young men fight them, wise men avoid them

About fourteen "Rocky" movies, most of them duds, and three marriages?
She admits as such already.
Clearly they didn't research John Rambo. They thought he was just some old man, never knowing his last name
Should’ve left these scenes in the movie
Rambo shows, it is the peace makers who are really the warmongers. Rambo is at peace, he's accepted his life. The missionaries knowingly choose to go and instigate in a war zone. Tells you everything you need to know. The ones without weapons are hiding the most dangerous ones.
I still don't understand why some people think they can fix the world and help people they should leave alone
Because some people are not willing to stand by and do nothing.
They feel that even if they can help a few people at a time then it can make a difference. And there is nothing wrong with that.
However the difference here is some people often get caught up in the emotion and stop using logic. Like you have to be really dumb if you decide to go "help" someone in middle of a warzone. Like the blonde here.
He puts the self-righteous lady in her place haha.
Trust me there’s way too many self-righteous sons of bitches in this country today. All offended about fucking words! All the whale turning a blind eye to people fucking snatching children off the streets to make them sex slaves! I’m at the point where I’m ready to move up into the mountains find a cave and live in an anybody comes with and 200 fucking hundred yards of my AO they get a bullet!
@Vortex why?
@peace leader why?
@peace leader Yeah you’re right look at all the assholes burning down cities and actually believe Joe Biden’s going to fix things when Joe Biden‘s been an asshole and a dirty son of a bitch for 50 years! Please don’t sit there and tell me about the media and their influence! You’ve got a bunch of 20 somethings you’ve never been out of mommy‘s basement who are burning down cities thinking communism is great yet never have experienced what a communist country is! You’re right the media can drive a narrative and the narrative they’re driving is to destroy this country. But when they get their way where are you going to Run to, to have your personal freedoms
I don't think he did. Sly actually shows respect to female characters in his films. Julia kim in Rambo 2 helps to rescue him. Talia shire as Adrian read him the riot act in rocky 3 and rocky 5. Sharon stone was a strong female character in the specialist. Julia benz's character managed to touch Rambo emotionally in a way only trautmann could and get him to change his mind.
"In war there is no victors, only survivors"
War doesn't determine who is right, only who is left.
one of sylevesters greatest regrets in this movie as said in extras
You can't truly call yourself peaceful, unless you're capable of great violence!!!
If you're not capable of violence, then you're not peaceful....your harmless.
That's the thing you gotta love about the Rambo movies: they reveal the horrors of war. Everything he said here is absolute 100 percent truth. There is no glory in war, just misery and pain and in the end, we forget what it was we were fighting for because as he said, 'Nobody tells the truth!'
WW2, would be the only exception I'd give
+Jo Bruser
dig much deeper about that war.

"Old men start it, young men fight it."
Truer words were never spoken!
She definitely sound's like shes come from a privelaged background. Probably sheltered most of her life with Sunday church every weekend. Has a paper-thin view of what risk, pain, or violence is.
Got to tell you that Stallone really dropped the ball by not having this scene in the theatrical cut. This is a great scene with some fantastic dialogue (yes Sly can write some great stuff. He isn't the stereotype he is believed to be) This sceneshould have been seen by everyone, not just those buying a Extended Cut DVD/Blu-ray. Just my 2 cents.
I agree, I own the Extended cut on Blu Ray and I am glad that this scene is back in the movie. It really shows how Rambo is after everything that has happened to him. All he wants is be alone, and living on his terms.
Exactly, just adds immeasurably more depth. As of now the extended cut is only available on the 2010 blu ray which is on the brink of going out of print (if it isn't already) and should really be available on streaming, hopefully it will be given a proper official new release.
Although it probably wasn't necessarily his fault it wasn't included initially, he actually said this about it "I’m very happy because I wish the director’s cut had been the actual cut. The problem with releasing a film is when you revisit it a year or some later you see all the wasted possibilities that you didn’t pay attention to the first time because of a rushed schedule. The new one has a great deal more heart to go along with the physicality of the film."
I saw it on TV tho.....
They should have left this in the movie. Very powerful statement
This is when he should've said "Listen, bibles and good intentions don't make you bullet proof."
Def Blinders
See my dad and plenty of Christian friends I know who actually *UNDERSTAND* that. and then there are others who think everything is black and white and is negotiable
Def Blinders its not suppose to make you bullet proof is it ?its suppose to make you different .
But then again no it dosent make you bulletproof .
Def Blinders Stallone is a good Christian and would never say that.
You are right, a bible doesn't make you Bullitt proof, it does however give you strength, inspiration and internal fortitude!
They shouldn't have deleted this scene. Rambo tells there not only the truth, but what he has learned in his movies
unfortunately he is right war will never end if it stops in this place it begins somwere else so true :(
8:00 "I feel like this is all my fault..." Yeah, well.... It is, so you're right on that at least. Lol
and no one tells the truth....statement of the year
jeff glass u r lying 🤥
NOTHING IS OVER!!! NOTHING!!! YOU JUST DON'T TURN IT OFF!!!
"I can take care of myself." -Said no one who could actually take care of themselves.
All these scenes were in the director's cut, I recommend getting it if you find it.
I knew it all along. I haven't seen this movie for a very long time and I guess I forgot about this scene, because when I analyze about Sarah talking to Rambo and him telling her not to go because it's too dangerous and that she can't change anything, she kept refusing to listen to him and her husband Michael, the whole village got massacred, not one survived, the whole crew got killed, except for her husband, and it came all down to saying that this tragedy happened because of her. But when I saw the scene and see her saying that it's her fault, looks like I was right
I remember seeing this scene and dialogue in another version of the movie. However, in addition to watching this movie on cable at times, coupled with the purchase of same via iTunes years ago, this scene is/was deleted and I believe the scene was deleted on purpose so that the masses would not get wise to what Rambo is saying, retaining the false notion that one is fighting and/or dying in wars for God, country and trumped up noble causes, which is the lie that keeps war ongoing. The only beneficiaries to war are the war profiteers, politicos in power and their cronies, while the soldiers die, families are crushed so that they may profit at their expense. The scene and dialogue spoke "truth" and notice that after Rambo makes this statement that the woman didn't have a response to such, looked at him dumbfounded, for there isn't a response to truth but dead silence, acknowledging same as the real cause for war, profit and power for the few at the expense of the masses.
Very well said. Young men and women die so a handful of old corrupt POS can get rich!!
@@valtrus901 I couldn't agree with you more!
He is right...nothing changes..killing is an old trible custom, we are animals, deep inside us the desire for power and blood is to great. Power for those on top, blood for those who fight. If we just faced it and got off this PC BS, I think the world would be a better safer place. With strength comes respect, with respect comes peace. If the taiban knew we would kill every last person to end the fighting ...they would stop or die...we are the ones who are weak.
So what? Indulge in violence because it's in your blood and be convinced nothing can change? That's retarded. Caveman logic.
I agree you can’t even throw fist anymore without police and the courts or a lawsuit getting involved it’s really setting us back socially and people don’t understand, I don’t advocate war, violence, and death, but these things are unfortunately absolute in our society and I believe if people learn to stand there ground less frustration and confusion would ensure
that isn't what he is saying at all. Everyday life can be, and sometimes is a battle. War is and always will be natural, because the desire for power will always be there. What isn't natural, is peace because it does have to be fought for.
Rocco A. Spencer oorah Semper Fi
Timothy Summers yes and a nessassary evil .if you dont eventualy fight back you become a enslaved or probobly something worse .if their is anything worse .
I thought this was the best Rambo except for maybe First Blood.
That scene should have never have been deleted
hate it when a brother passes up a BJ opp
Best Rambo Movie by Far
old warrior rambo ..tell it as it is ..
The rain is fucking loud -.- hate english sound... the "side-sounds" (dunno if it right) is to noisy
Beside that Slys real voice is awesome...
Her character fabulously displays the primary flaw of snowflakes; believing that disliking a fact will somehow make it change or go away.
Belief, hope, and faith are all half measures. They are usless without any action to back them up, but by that point the action's have superceded their intended meaning. Acceptance will always accomplish so much more than forgiveness. Forgiveness shouldnt be given, it can only be reached when someone truly understand's if/what they did wrong, accept it, and make changes from there. That to me is the true definition of how someone truly becomes a better person.
lol she can take care of herself
nicolas7183: Hell yes she can more than take care of herself. If you watched Boondock Saints 2, then you know that is FBI Special Agent Eunice Bloom, with a lot of emphasis on the word Special.
Coolest part of the movie! They were going to be massacred, except an expert with a .45 Government had other plans!
They're are champion shooters who can actually do that, so it was not far fetched!
Cleaver lady, you got me monologing.
RAMBO WILL ALWAYS BE MY FAVOURITE MOVIE AND MY FAVOURITE HERO AND MOTIVATION ❤

@guitarmanfender I also remember I saw this for the first time on Star Movies pr HBO may be and I was stunned but later on when I was watching a retelecast it wasn't there.
exactly! I saw it in the movie theater but these days scene's not there. Too bad. Thank you. It's powerful. Really. And yes, the old men should fight their own wars.
right on sly
Censorship is why we save old movies.
It's called sin.
Last Rambo is the BEST!
every time ive seen this movie. the same lines are said by rambo, but with more emotion, hes yelling pretty much the whole thing. i cant seem to find that version anywhere. everytime spike tv has this movie on, these scenes are always in the movie. seems odd that they were "deleted scenes"
LOL. He tells it like how the ones who scripted his lines want you to think and believe.
01 Some things will always change
02 And some things never will
The mentally weak and easily frightened will accept that which those who aren't . won't.
In 2018, everybody would be shocked at the rampant mansplaining in this movie.
and if there's such thing as god and angels and they don't do bad shit at all, it's because they weren't built into feeble beings who have needs like how it is with us. they are immortal things who don't need anything, so of course they obviously have it easier than we do. if jesus existed, he had it easier than any other human being alive with his unlimited magic and supernatural powers.
Simply cannot say no to the logic. Very powerful and sadly true statement.
pretty much the inspriational speech from rocky balboa, why would they delete this :(
I feel it, im from Indonesia south east Asia. We are livin in military government. Every single politician had to be close to the military leader of they want to survive the Chamber.
"A is for army. Our boys khaki clad. Somebody's son or somebody's dad. In war you're a prince. Want a ride? Lift up your thumb. In peace they give you the finger, you bum."
Great scenes - I'm hoping all of these will be in the Director's Cut which is supposed to be released on July 27, 2010. Thanks for uploading this.
I love Julie Benz's voice.
Liberals.
Everyone needs to see this before joining the army. Unfortunately, they kept this as a deleted scene on Netflix. Because you know why, it's because this is the real ‘TRUTH’ of wars and they don't want people to know this.
The resolution gave me corona.
Cough cough
Sarah is hott......
Julie Benz. Damn right she is.
This wasn't deleted, I saw it in the theater. It was in the film
@alaindiazaran and still.... its natural! its in the blood. :)
Nice one,Subscribed.Please keep it up...
just thoes few lines makes it a better movie and it tells us that this movie doesnt glorify violence and it gives a better mesage at the end. this is probably going to be on the directors cut thats coming out soon.
while i understand rambo's perspective, you gotta understand that he's not advocating violence and death and such, he just says what goes on, and that conflicts like these are still currently part of human nature, and that it just happens, and no tries and succeeds in becoming a hero when it comes to war, it just turns out that way sometimes, and that if we really want everlasting peace, we must learn from war, what causes/starts it, what happens in it, and how it ended. so many people nowadays, when they hear our government is going to war, they don't pay attention to it, they just sit back and continuing watching tv, if people payed more attention to whats happening in the world and more learned and sometimes took action in the smartest way possible, this world would be a better place. i just hope we live long enough to see that day.
this should not have been delated!
this was amazing.
Great film....great scenes and what Rambo says is right. I'm saying this....WAR SUCKS! The people who start it should take the bullet....nobody else
Rambo told the absolute truth with all of that. Id send her home
@nolivegamer1234 hes also right that fighting changes things not words
Peace is an accident because it's always something that we have to fight for. We fight, theres peace then theres a fight again. Peace is something that you have to achieve by force. When really it's not a thing that requires force. That's why peace is an accident.

Ya, dirt rubs off onto everything, but not virtue...we must have it coming from within us...the Kingdom of God is within us Jesus taught.
It's kind of like the old saying..
"If you want peace, then prepare for war." The two have a funny way of going hand-in-hand.
FIGHTINgING for PEACE is LIKE fucking to get your VIRGINITY back . GC
OH btw your an ass !!!!
rambo right u can walk into a war zone without any guns if u do what is the point??
omg its Dexter's Wife!
how is it said that movie???
@bnortonm
So is the guy she's engaged to, lol. They're a good pair.
@imranakram4000 Human nature at its worst.
The answer is; Yes, God will make it all go away.
Me neither. Best lines in the film.
He spoke the truth about war !
This scenes wasn't deleted, last time I watched it
Lotta tough guys on here....lol
shame it was deleted.
The version of the movie I saw had this scene.
50th comment! Also this scene is good.
One who tells the truth got there scenes deleted
better then what I saw in the theaters
There's nothing wrong with wanting to help. For real, wanting to make a difference with such little power is inspiring. But What Rambo says here is such a cold hard truth about our species and about why war happens in general...It's hell, and the ones that often times suffer the most are not just the civilians caught in the crossfire but the men who are in it. They lose part of themselves, never to be seen again. Like what happened to our man, John here.....
She hasn't had experience with the dark side of life, Rambo has. Where Rambo sees she's good hearted. The guy with her, uhhh. Which we would be in bad shape without her types.
Very powerful scene on the boat!
He’s abso-fucking-lutely right! The way we’ll get peace isn’t causing the absence of conflict it’s having the balls to face it!
“The Being That will restore you to life at resurrection is such that the whole cosmos is like an obedient soldier of His. It bows its head submissively whenever it hears the command, “Be!”, and it is.To create a spring is easier for Him than the creation of a flower. Risale-i Nur Collection
I wonder why this big scene was deleted from this movie of year 2006 installment last chapter of (Rambo)?
*The other version of this scene is WAY BETTER... the flow of the words, emotion, is more genuine. This version seems like a practice run.*
there will always be someone who wants to live by violence and fear and their goal is to make everyone else unhappy so if today you winn there is still tomorrow for another fight.
I've seen two different takes of this scene. The other, sly is much more angry. Speaks slower. Which version has which?
the guy with the top comment is right, and no its not in our blood its the world we live in now its just says do it do it!!! Dont think for what or for who just do it!! And alot of us are so stupid enough to listen to it. I will fight for things i think are good with as less violence asspossible and not to make some oil company even richer than it already is.
* yawn *
You are wrong..it is in our blood..not the world we live in NOW. Men habe been fighting and killing since we learned how to use stones and I'm sure before.
We all have it in us..it may take protecting someone/something to bring it out..fight or flight. It may take greed, anger, rage..but it is in all of us, you just have to be pushed to YOUR point.
And the shit about oil companies..lol..come on, wars have been fought over any reason you can think of...some righteous, some not. You think it's oil, some think it's religion, some think it's power, money, or just arrogance..whatever the reason, there are men lining up to fight..I did it, and I did for my own reasons, so did every man there with me
@imranakram4000
Agree with you.
why was this deleted
@s7iily Nah, I thought if a guy twisted by war gets to talk, he would talk exactly like that, but anyway, its your opinion
He Pretty much just said it's all bullshit! Means absolutely nothing! I concur!
Gimmee a break! He tells her all the reasons not to go, he won't help them , doesn't make a difference - then he takes them! Gimmee a break!
