This was a dope reaction. I'm glad to see since the Kendrick/Drake battle, alotta people went back through Kendrick's catalogue. It's probably better you waited to listen to this album, because you have to be in a certain head space to enjoy a body of work like this. To me, this is a 5-mic album, it's flawless, and conceptually and instrumental-wise, one of thee best hip hop albums of the past 20 years or so. Loved your reaction to some of my faves on here like "How Much A Dollar Cost"; "Hood Politics"; "For Sale?" and "Mortal Man," especially the Kendrick/2Pac "conversation." Overall, this is not an album to be just listened to, but instead, to be fully experienced and studied. After sitting with this album, it's also well worth the time checking for the numerous Los Angeles-based jazz and funk producers/instrumentalists who helped put this together. Projects by Terrace Martin, Robert Glasper, Kamasi Washington, Thundercat, Flying Lotus, James Fauntelroy, Marlon Williams, are critically acclaimed.
Oh man… I was hyped to watch this but It was kind of painful when you skipped ‘alright’ and ‘i’. l definitely get the mindset in thinking that you heard them before so they’d be ok to skip, but hearing the singles in the context of the record as it was intended is kinda important IMO. Especially when the album version is almost entirely different 😂either way glad that you like the album and hope it’s something that you return to every once in a while, I’m still discovering new things each time i hear it lol
@@DRushTelevision I REALLY really really really think you should take the time to up the quality of the reaction by using a headset and separating your voice from the actual song, It's the kind of one time reaction you'll end up really wishing you took the time to make it the best experience you could for both you and your viewers, once you made it big
Kendrick’s best song is:
Sing About Me.
Prob still M.A.A.D City. Close contender is Wesley’s theory
On this album, Momma🔥
These Walls is perfect
It's Sing About Me, I'm Dying Of Thirst no contest. People are talking crazy in here 😂
I love that ppl r going back to hear Kendrick old work that they never heard
Best experience is listening to Section 80, GKMC, TPAB in sequence 📻
Only album I listened to in full is damn & tpab so those other two coming soon fosho.
@@DRushTelevision word…Section 80 is like a Compton story book. GKMC and TPAB tell his life story
The evolution 🤌👌
Don’t forget about “Overly Dedicated”
"I'm gonna skip 'i'."
Oh man, you've got no idea lol
Nah I’ve listened before, didn’t wanna fake react
@WeTheNewEra it's a completely different track from the original "i" recording though. It's like a sequel to the "i" single version.
@@DRushTelevision its the album version and its almost completely different (better)
@@DRushTelevision lmao
Skipping the album version is WILD 😂😂

Best artis to collab with Kendrick would be Andre 3000 imho
Three stacks Kendrick colab would go insane.
Fun fact: Yes he was talking abt drake on the "Rapper with ghostwriter" king kunta verse
9:15 he is talking about Drake the beef starts all the way back till 2013 I think

@@redsquid8321 appreciate ya
The only mfers who call this album boring are the ones who dont really listen
Because they are pacified like a baby, listening to the most basic time all the time not even appreciating something technical
On complexion there was no samples, thundercat and others worked to create the sounds for this album specifically
I still listen to it almost everyday
Kendrick + Andre 3000
That flute would come in handy
3stacks is dot’s sensei. I reckon they’ll collab on Kenny’s next album. Hoping so anyway with the jazz producers that are working on it.
You must go bavk and listen to the album version of i. It is completely different
Kendrick Schoolboy Q
