Ahhh! Time to quiet down the noise and craziness of the world... Its time for some Fountain Pen Therapy! A nice pen with interesting engraving, I think I will add it to the list :) Thank you for the wonderful review Vincenzo!
Hi Vincenzo! Thanks for showing this pen! I tend to agree with you about the price. The designs on the pen are very nice, including the interesting sword clip, but the Hongdian CA-35 you compared it with is a very nice pen for less money.
Thanks Vincenzo, another balanced review. I felt a little homesick when I saw the pictures of Cologne Cathedral. How often had I been there before. The pen is certainly not worth the price, like most Tangmoon offers from the same old, in my eyes more obscure A/L/I-profit hunters. Since the beginning of 2024, I have found it increasingly difficult to find offers there whose value is in line with the asking price. With the Tangmoon FPs, I have the impression that they might come from that MB fake forge, just at much higher prices.set by these known dealers.
Nice pen, Vincenzo! I have a couple of nibs from Tangmoon and it seems that they come in Bock nib units (I have not tried to see if they fit any of the pens I have that sport a Bock nib) but this is what I gathered from reading reviews online and the limited description on AliExpress
Booker. Cr is another Chinese pen company (or should i say small workshop), and Tangmoon cooperated with them to bring some dead pen designs from Booker. Cr back to life i think. A big factor why the models died in the first place has something to do with the price. Many people in the Chinese fountain pen community find the pens from Booker Cr priced too "confidently". This pen in review in particular sold for around 350 RMB I believe. For comparison the Qing Dynasty from Hongdian was around 280 RMB with a much more intricate design and a piston filler. For Tangmoon, I have a Tangmoon D6, which is from Tangmoon's own design and has a magnetic cap. Well, I wont recommend it because the cap doesn't seal.
Wow, You are certainly on a Chinese pen journey. Is this the only kind you like? I have not seen you do anything but Chinese pens for a very long time.
I am from Cologne and I find this is outrageous. What's the point of that anyway? What do the Chinese have to do with Cologne Cathedral (colloquially: Kölner Dom, official name: Hohe Domkirche zu Köln)? They should build a clone of the cathedral in China first and not get on my arse with stuff like that. Ruins my day.
Does it occur to you that someone in China finds the Cathedral intriguing and this is actually a tribute? Your instant outrage sounds far more Offended Englander than anything recognizably German!
@@davidwright8432 Is that the official China Clone Factory argument? The Chinese copy and counterfeit everything on the same justification. Stealing everything and make money with cheap clones but if they tell stupid Westerners that it is just a tribute because they value it so much, there will always be enough fools who feel flattered and buy the crap.
if you write with the pen right after inking of course all of them will be wet and smooth. sorry to say but a writing sample right after inking will never tell you the actual every day characterostics of a pen.

Having been to the cathedral in Cologne, this is VERY tempting!
Thanks Vincenzo, another balanced review.

Impressed by the nib quality! Which swatches notebook are you using (you mentioned it in a previous video but i can't remember which)? Thanks.
Tangyue is just another way to say TangMoon! The Yue part just means Moon
Thank you for the answer - I was wondering also if some kind of wordplay between languages was taking place :)

@@davidwright8432 agreed, i'd love it if a Chinese pen manufacturer showed appreciation for my country

What a disturbing reaction! Art belongs to anybody, doesn't it? Are you offended the Chinese copy "your" Montblanc?
@@davidwright8432 Ich bin sicher, dass du noch nie einen Deutschen getroffen hast, sonst würdest du so einen Quatsch nicht schreiben.

I think he said he had last written with it a week before this review and had just left it capped.
