Carefully Watching my wife of 38 years light up with incandescent joy as each of her 4 sons and their wives arrived at our home for Christmas eve, made me feel like I was witnessing something sacred and eternal. I am in awe of her. She’s seems superhuman, and although we struggled at times, it always came so inexplicably naturally to her. I am convinced that her feats of femininity through the years are universally fundamental, and of the stuff that makes living in the world with some assemblance of happiness possible.
I LOVE your outfit today, Tammy! Also, thanks for this episode. Not finished quite yet but it’s truly interesting so far and also highly relevant in today’s society. I’m on my own journey right now to find out what a woman really is supposed to be.
Amazing talk! Thank you SO much! I didn't know about a lot of the historical things you talked about! Something that bothers me a bit is when love of nature is equated to Paganism. I am a Catholic nature lover & find my peace while outside working in the garden. I am truly in awe of God's creation every day by putting my hands in the dirt & walking on God's green earth. It calms my mind, body & spirit. It's a prayerful, sacred experience for me. Especially when I use that time to grow food for my family. A lot of indigenous practices are often equated to Paganism, when indigenous people learned to live off the land that God gave us all. Stewards of the earth. There are a lot of evil practices & Godly practices among many groups of people historically. My dearly beloved grandmother would be so thankful to hear this talk. God rest her precious soul! The birth control pill changes the way women interact with men & it's hurting our men. This affects me deeply as the mother of many sons! And it makes women fat, unmotivated & miserable. Countless young women are put on birth control from the day of their first period. They don't know any different. The non hormonal IUD has the highest level of satisfaction among birth control users but it isn't pushed on the public like the pill. There's no money in it. I heard an expert lady doctor talk about this on Huberman Lab & on your husband's podcast. Mikhaila's podcast, too, I think. Wonderful podcasts I deeply appreciate! I am an educated woman. I ran my own business for 8 years. Was in the field of education for years prior to staying home & homeschooling my 2 youngest children. CPS interfered in our lives due to an outdated homeschool approval letter and made my family the subject of an invasive, ongoing investigation for almost a year, even though their concerns were addressed long ago. It's very very sad that the rights of parents are being violated by govt and society to this extent. It's tragic that the role of traditional mother/woman is devalued to this extent. My own parents think I'm wasting my time & brain power by being at home now & not earning money when my family needs me at home & I work harder now that I ever have for paid work. It's so, SO sad. I was raised in a large, traditional, Catholic, multigenerational family. It was a beautiful way to grow up! I had beautiful nurturing women all around me from my father's side of the family. My mother was different & still is. Things have changed since my grandmothers death 10+ years ago. If I don't spend the remainder of my children's growing years at home, much of those traditional family values will die with me & I will not let that happen. Peace be with you all. I am so grateful for your podcast! Your family has changed my life in profound & meaningful ways! Thank you is not enough. 💕🙏🏼🕊️
Thank you both for this reminder of my purpose as a mother. It is so easy for me to get caught up in the never ending daily tasks of homemaking and forget what it actually is I am doing.
Hi Tammy, your husband mentioned in a few interviews that you have worked out your relationship with your siblings. I wanted to suggest that you post a video about how you did that. Thank you and may God continue blessing your family.
I read Mary Wollstonecraft without the dubious benefit of a feminist studies person to explain it to me. The book, on its face, is a vile piece of work. She came across as very young, very influenced by crazy men, and having no idea of her own body, motherhood, children or anything else having to do with real life. She was all flighty thougths. I got the idea she didn't have a mother.
12:53 Massively disagree. Just because they’re not waving placards doesn’t mean they haven’t mobilised into sophisticated groups to address what they deem as unsatisfactory practices. You really think men fold, respectfully, for women they disagree with? Despite all the evidence to the contrary? Demographics matters in making this claim.
0:46 How sad. In Islam, we have a narration which states that God has more mercy on the believer than his/her own mother. Allah forgives all sins except associating partners to Him.
The connection between feminism and environmentalism is the earth mother goddess. Jordan Peterson should be aware of this. It’s the natural or earth side of woman. The Virgin Mary is a wonderful example for women but it’s incomplete if you don’t include the natural side of women. She can’t work herself out without knowing both sides to herself. Carl Jung has spoken about this. It’s not about getting rid of the earth mother it’s about interrogating both sides of women. Finding peace or connecting heaven and earth. The Catholic church missed this and causes this divide in society with women.
Why are Tammy and the guest sitting so far from each other? It’s so unnatural. No one has conversations sitting like this since we don’t have microphones with us.

Certainly my 2 best women in the media. Truly striving to be perfectly feminine. Dr. Carrie Gress is amazing.

Our Lady of Guadalupe is the miracle that really brought me home to Catholicism.

There's some really weird camera angles in this video. What's going on??

It might be because of the huge TV between them.
I agree, Monika^^
Distance creates different mind perspective.
((What are they wearing on their feet??? Moonwalkers from kids' cartoons?))
