The upside down pouches make sense, if there are bullet clips or whatever you would just open it and it'd slip out fast and you can load your gun. It'd be cumbersome if those pouches faced up
I've never been a huge fan of Revoltech, yet lately I keep seeing and listening to prominent toy reviewers having great times with this particular Deadpool. I see this piece is meant for extreme poses and it DOES nail it with those awesome photos. This time the company made the right decision to produce Deadpool and Spidey who are well-known (globally) for their extreme action moves.
I got this a while ago and I actually just got it signed by Rob Liefield himself an NYCC. For those that don’t know… he’s the creator of Deadpool. Got his signature and in addition he even drew the eyes of Deadpool for shits and giggles. Along with a certificate of authenticity signed by him as well that has a serial number written on it matching the same serial number on a gold sticker placed right next to his signature on the box. Was really happy about that!
The belt pouches are supposed to be upside-down. Magazines go in them, and they drop out easily when the pouches are upside-down. It's a speed loading thing.
Hey shartimusPrime, I love your channel so much! This vid is one of my ATF's (all time favorites). Anyways the reason why his belt holders are upside down is for his ammo clips. If he were to have his pockets regular, then he would have to pull out the clip out of his pocket and waste time killing and possibly going to get shot. If it's upside down then he would have to put his hand on it, flip it open with his thumb, and finally it'll land in his hand! Like so shartimusPrime can see this!!!
I have a bunch of Revoltech figs and love them all. Favorite being the IM mark 1 and Boba Fett. The Fett really is a nice one I think many skipped. Gotta love the turtles as well. I have a badass t rex and the old Toby Spiderman. The revol aliens are cool to, I like the queen alien I have. The Revol mini's are great figures as well. Love the revol mini warmachine. So yea they aren't for everyone but I like them. This fig looks wicked cool despite the gripes. Awesome review bro
There definitely needs to be a soft rubber piece cover put in between the double sided shoulder joint just like the one in the back of the head, some customizing should fix it.
There is a precedent for carrying magazine pouches upside down like that, it can be done (and is) in real life if the pouches have elastic retention for the mags. Also there is no way to draw the mags up since the pouch directly above the belt is in the way. The upside down pouches make sense.
It's ok, they're tons of McFarlin figures out there for you that have 0 gaps... and that would be because they have just about no articulation. These figures are all about *super* articulation, and with that comes gaps. Can't have both sadly.
I thought of a what I would call a good idea. My idea is that if hasbro could do a platinum line for popular Characters in marvel and to pay the average import price for each individual figure with more paint articulation and accessories. I think it would be a big hit for hasbro. Let me know your thoughts people :)
Darth Wheezer I don't think it would be as good as an average import though, because companies like NECA are making figures for 25$ with lots of accessories and detail, while hasbro has figured for 20$ and minimal accessories and paint. I feel like if they did it, it would be better than the average Marvel Legend, but for the price it would still have lots left to be desired.

upside down so when he goes for a fresh magazine for his pistol, it just falls out into his hand, which is already in position. when u have mags up u have to pull them out, upside down, gravity works for you.
Great review bro!!! Revoltech you either love them or hate them. I actually like Revoltech for certain figures although they are far from my favorite import company. However I'm definitely down for the this and their upcoming Spider Man. Not having a Wade Wilson head was definitely a let down but all in all I love this piece.

Also, SOME (not many) military vest have a section of pouches that are stitched in upside down, mostly for quick ''drop'' access to the insides, mostly for special magazines or shells.
i just bought one, cannot wait until he gets here. :) finally i'll get to own a Deadpool figure. and a damn good one at that! even thought the $75+ i paid for it was quite a hit to the wallet. hopefully though; it'll be worth it.
Revoltech were really the first figures that got me into the hobby. I only have a few, but I love the joints. They're definitely not for everyone and have a bit of a learning curve, but they hold poses and last better than anything else in the scale. Really, really fun company.
Shartimus you are the best but on the left part of the belt is what some people do so the ammo pack falls easier and they can reload the pistol quicker

Great review bro!!! Again the love hate relationship with Revoltech continues. If you want a SUPER posable version of DEADPOOL then this is the figure for you. However this articulation comes with a cost. Some poses just look ugly with the exposed joints although most of these can be,hidden depending on the angle you take photos from. It also helps to have a working knowledge of how Revoltech joints move so you can get the most from this figure. If the ugly exposed joints bother you I'd say stick with the Marvel Legends figure. However if you want the most articulated version of the character possible this is the figure for you. I myself will be picking this figure up. I just wish he did come with a Wade Wilson head.
hey to solve the Gap itch in the shoulder joints just get some rubber shrink tubing and put it on the joints and then attach the arm trust me to shrink tubing a cover-up the joint and it look like it's actually part of that figure

Man idk if it's just mine but this figure is fragile. Straight out of package one arm was very loose and wouldn't stay in a position but I waited a month for the figure and decided not to send it back. I posed the figure by plugging his display base peg into his belt and the figure looked great on my shelf with the rest of my marvel characters until a week later I decided to pose him different I realized the belt broke a little and bent back. I handle all my figures with extreme care and this one is just falling apart. It's by no means a bad figure I think I just got a bad one so I'm gonna put him back in his package and get a new one to display

Mizthegr8 Figma announced some time ago, actually before this DP even was on pre-order in June, that they were making a DP. however as of yet there are no promo pics or a timeline that I have seen. That said this DP is awesome I've personally found Revol figures to be hit and miss but like Shart I have a lot of fun posing this figure but finding a posse is certainly a process given the joints and gaps.

I would love this figure, but mine just seems to fall apart whenever I touch it. If one of the eyes doesn't fall out, then a hand falls off, or one of his legs drops off at the knee. Or his body separates and drops off from the stomach down. Am I doing something wrong, or is this somekind of knock off I have?
man....the peg that attach from the shoulder to the body broke...i cant remember when i open the package but does it comes with extra pegs? if now what would be the solution? FYI the pegs can be brittle so be careful and dont make the same mistake as i did.. =(
