I tried this computer and then returned. I loved everything about this computer... Except the base models display that is a TN (not IPS) technology. TN displays are terrible in cheap form. I would only recommend this laptop if you are getting it with the IPS display for the right price.
That laptop is insanely overpriced for really bad specs, even compared to other lenovo laptops. It has 32GB of eMMC storage (same kind found in sub $150 netbooks). their top model with a Core i5-6300U CPU, cost over $870, and still only has 32GB of storage. For about the same price less, you can buy the Lenovo flex 4, and get a laptop with a core i7 7500U, 16GB DDR4 RAM, 256GB SSD, touch screen 15.6 inch 1080p IPS display, bigger battery, and a backlit keyboard. And that all includes a paid OS rather than the free chrome OS. Someone has to be in a really sorry mental state to consider this chromebook, especially since it is possible to just buy the flex 4 and install the chrome OS on it and get a significantly more powerful system, with more features and longer battery life. For every price bracket available for this chromebook, Lenovo has a windows based laptop for a similar price that has better specs in a similar size, especially in the flex series. You can literally buy a far higher end system for the same price, and turn it into a chrome book for less money, and have the added benefit of being able to hop back into windows when you need the extra productivity.
You're better off buying a keyboard and mouse for your current Android tablet. This is a waste of money!! No GooglePlay store only ChromeStore! Huge waste of money!! Get a 10.1 inch or smaller tablet and Microsoft office apps like Excel, Word etc are FREE! I warned you! Don't waste money on Chromebooks! You're welcome :0)
Kawshik Ahmed I'll believe it when i see it. I've been hearing that for a long while now. Same with 7.0 os, hardly any devices have it, they said by now lots devices will have the new os. Cant even find 7.0 os products in stores.. And you're still better off adding a mouse and keyboard to your tablet, it's an automatic detachabe 2 in 1 laptop-hybrid tablet! Plus with an otg adapter cable and a PS3 controller, instant game console! No current Chromebook can beat that! Unless they add the GooglePlay store and make 2 in 1 Chromebook laptops. Till that happens, Chromebooks are such a huge waste of money.
Boba Squid You will believe it when you see it?? The Chromebook listed below already got full Android support with Play Store and Gamepad working as well. ASUS Chromebook Flip C100 Acer Chromebook R11 Google Chromebook Pixel LS(2015) ASUS Chromebook Flip C302* Acer Chromebook 14 Acer Chromebook 15(some models) HP Chromebook 11 G5 Toshiba 2 (2015) Adobe yesterday announced they will update their Android apps for Chromebooks with better keyboard and trackpad support. Also, Google announced yesterday Chrome OS 2 in 1 and Tablets are coming.
Not cool. Chromebooks are a waste of money. Just get an Android tablet, then buy a keyboard and mouse and you'll have a much better machine than a ChromeBook. You don't get the GooglePlay store with Chromebooks.
Is she smelling the laptop in front of the camera?
wtf
thats the moment i realized she was a freak.
Looks like a Chromebook but does it smell like one?

"Awkward sitting positions," aka freakishly small lecture hall chairs. I hate them
400 dollars is cheap yeah right
crome books doesn't need much power ppl are using it just to surf net watch video and to do other small stuff plus the os is not on the heavy side
Mr Rad 400 is too much for a chromebook
Did she just sniff it? 😂
Please make it last 10 hours.
almost 500 dollars for a stupid chromebook. and you guys consider this affordable .... lmao
Stranger things 20+ years later doing tech reviews

0:25?! WTF
An embarrassment to the brand ThinkPad
I know, but they just had to compete in the chromebook category.

First comment
Why would anyone buy a Chromebook anyway. It's overpriced and useless.
