About 50 years ago I contacted a rabbi about becoming a Jew because I had read about it, and it seemed closer to what I believed than Catholicism did, which is how I was raised. The rabbi told me I couldn't become Jewish unless I had a Jewish mother. I took him at his word. I wandered in a spiritual desert until I was 40 when I learned about Islam. I became Muslim a little over 30 years ago. I'm in my 70s now. It's so nice to see that you pray much like we do. Allah guides whom He Will. Thank you again.

As a Muslim young man, who grew up in the conservative Muslim society and who speaks Arabic at the same time. I have never met a Jew in my life, never saw them pray or do their ritual but always wondered how they pray. Assalamu Alaykum akhi that’s not a religious issue it’s a political issue where long story short Europe didn’t want the Jews and after World War II the UN decided to put them in Palestine and back them militarily so they can slowly take over Palestine. This was very interesting and I liked that you translated it, even though I also would have loved to hear the Hebrew original, because I love the language! I looked it up because I read a manga(it's called "Message to Adolf" by Osamu Tezuka) and there is a scene were 2 jewish characters are praying in a synagogue. In the German translation the editorial staff added a note which says the depiction is incorrect, it showed a Christian prayer( hands folded in front of the forehead), so I wanted to see how an actual Jewish prayer looks like. I am a non-religious person but there's something calming in hearing a prayer, while you where talking I was sitting reverent in front of my phone and started closing my eyes too. I have chronic headaches but in this time I couldn't feel them. Very nice, I want to learn more about Judaism! Sorry if I made any English mistakes, it's not my first language. If a Muslim saw this Jew praying he would join in the prayer since the posture is similar to that of most Sunni Muslims during prayer. Of course it would become obvious once the Muslim realizes that the successive motions are different, but it would make for a good opportunity to see how much we have in common and strengthen understanding.

The rabbi told me I couldn't become Jewish unless I had a Jewish mother. I took him at his word. I wandered in a spiritual desert until I was 40 when I learned about Islam. I became Muslim a little over 30 years ago. I'm in my 70s now. It's so nice to see that you pray much like we do. Allah guides whom He Will. Thank you again.

In verse 13, we see that he will fight and he will triumph over his enemies, and so did the Prophet Mohammed peace be upon him,
In verse 17, we see that him will put the idol worshipers to shame, and so did the prophet Mohammed peace be upon him.

I looked it up because I read a manga(it's called "Message to Adolf" by Osamu Tezuka) and there is a scene were 2 jewish characters are praying in a synagogue. In the German translation the editorial staff added a note which says the depiction is incorrect, it showed a Christian prayer( hands folded in front of the forehead), so I wanted to see how an actual Jewish prayer looks like.
I am a non-religious person but there's something calming in hearing a prayer, while you where talking I was sitting reverent in front of my phone and started closing my eyes too. I have chronic headaches but in this time I couldn't feel them. Very nice, I want to learn more about Judaism!

1. Do you recite prayer in Hebrew or can I just use my native language?
2. In which direction do I pray? And how can I detect the direction?
3. How many times should I pray and when is the time for prayer?
4. Can I read my notes for the words I'm reciting or should I memorize it all?
5. Do I have to do it daily?
6. The knee scrunches and bending that you do, what does it mean? How many times should I do it? Is it mandatory?
7. What kind of clothing should I wear? I don't own any Jewish clothing whatsoever.
8. What do I do after I finished praying?
9. What if I forget to pray? Should I double it the next day?
10. Do I pray in private or am I allowed to do it in front of other people?

It depends which prayer. We have prayer before and after eating. Prayer after using bathroom. Prayer when traveling. Hard to tell which prayer you witnessed.
