Those hand guards looks better than storm in my opinion. I liked that the bolts for the plastic was threaded in the aluminium bar instead of the bark busters that’s screwed in the plastic and in the aluminium with self threaded bolts. It’s looks much sturdier on the Acerbis guards.

Nice to see some backyard open air DIY wrenching! Your comment about not dropping the spring really resonated with me…. I do all my vehicle work outside on gravel - I’ve learned to put down cardboard everywhere or if you drop something, you might never see it again, or at least not until it shows up stuck into a tire! ;-) I was thinking of putting Barkbusters on the BMW F750GS, but I’ll take a look at the Acerbis since you say the look high quality. I wonder if they make a kit that is compatible with the bar end weights on the GS.

I am really impressed with the out of the box quality of the Acerbis Xfactor handguards. This is the only Acerbis I have ever tried. and so far I haven't dropped the bike on it yet, so I don't have an opinion on it's crash capabilities just yet haha. I am not sure how it would fit with the bar end weights on the F750GS. but maybe they sell a version that works with bar end weights. When you find out. Please let us know too!

The fe350? Or the acerbis handguard?
      I didn't notice because it's easy lighter than my 701e /GS 🤣

How do you have your mosko moto bags attached to your bike? I have same bike and bags, but have not installed yet. Thanks!

super easy, just on the actual frame of the bike, making sure to be away from the heat sources. if you have the newer bags it's even better, i have the oldest version and it doesn't rotate the angle at all so it's not quite sitting perfectly but works good enough.
the back part straps i just loop around the tail of the bike. enjoy!

Do you have a link to purchase that replacement lever pivot bolt? I've Googled and haven't found anything that looks similar. If no link, contact info for dealer who gave it to you perhaps? Thanks!

Any movement or loosening issues going forward? I just put the same onto my '22 501S, and I could not use the half-moons used to shim the inner mounts; the stock bar is just too thick at the spot they have to go. So I clamped em down without. They seem solid, but curious if they'll loosen with time.
