I once asked a person if he was a member of the lgbtq community and my gf and her friend were all like 'Noo, you can't ask someone that question and blah blah blah blah', but I just wanted to be clear if he was or wasn't, because if we don't know for sure, my gf and friends will start gossiping about the guy and gossiping annoys the hell outa me. So yeah, people can't take bluntness, that's my experience as well, they call it 'harsh', 'unethical' and 'irrational', tho I think that as an INTP, I'm the most rational and ethical person in the room and definitely the only one that's willing/dares to speak the truth.
The second one of saying that we don't reveal how much we know is sooo true, I mostly do it because I don't want to be seen like I'm just showing off and because sometimes people may not even pay attention when I go too deep explaining something, so why bother
@@agentesmith1548 INTPs are very intelligent but just not built for school. It takes certain type of teacher and teaching technique to truly grab their attention.

But time alone, it feels awesome, tons of ideas and unfathomable theories and sparkling solutions to almost everything on Earth plays in mind. Yep. Sometimes, it feels like people just aren't paying any attention at all to how things influence or are influenced by other things. I often find it completely baffling and I don't enjoy being baffled.
take it with a grain of salt, IQ shouldn't be based on personality type, it is far too complex and nuanced to simply say one personality type is more intelligent than another, that would be a false assumption to make given the fact that intelligence is multi-faceted.
😂 yes actually I'm also baffled ... all we INTPs have is our brain and nothing else of any skill. How do we come second to anyone at least in our own field?
I love how in the begining of the video it tells intps to dive in deeper into out personality type as if we didnt dive in deep 0.3 seconds after we got out results🤣
We are great advisors because we are constantly thinking, sometimes we just spend time thinking of the solution for a problem we don’t have and set in a scenario we will probably never live.

I gave advice to a doctor once, she told her lawyer what I told her to do and he said.. damn he's a snake. I do love dark humor, the darker the better. My advice is brutal. As for what we do with the knowledge, we store it for later. Statistics and probability are constantly being used.
I am an INTP. Plus I am African. I had to literally google things like common courtesy to understand how to make small talk and interact more naturally with others. Because of that I became sort of a philosophy and psychology nerd. I find it extrememely difficult to epress my thoughts clearly, especially about a topic I know a lot about and am excited about that I always feel less intelligent. I want to explain the concept the way the Book or YT video explained but I just can't and end up rambling. But when I write or think, it's always so clear and articulate
Yup, love dark humor. Though it's not just being amused by it, it's more that we can simply laugh at things that are just funny, regardless of emotional boundaries. We don't think anything is off limits, we want truth and we allow all information, we see all information as being on the same level. Dead baby jokes are no different then yo moma jokes to us.
Speaking of dark humor, I remember one joke I made that made my sisters (who are both INFP) and they were both speechless XD the joke I made was: "What has eyes but can't see?" and no they're not fruits or vegetables.
I don't know why but as an intp teenage girl whenever I try someone to make laugh and crack joke instead of laughing they get nervous I didn't know why
Everything within this video is quite accurate except the thing at 9:30 - I actually feel offended by that and has nothing to do with dark humor, but with disrespecting someone else's physical boundaries. INTPs don't do that!
Yes I'm an INTP ... very much interested in Philosophy and psychology. But i want to learn so many subjects like law, economics, neurosurgery, politics. Even though I'm a trilingual but i want to learn 2-3 more languages.
the only thought i had through out the video , was that these people are being paid to do basic facial expressions? like who came up with that idea, there's probably a whole ass agency for this. like do they pay well? i doubt they do, but its lowkey embarrassing. cause they often always end up being memes. maybe they wanted to be like an actor but didn't get it , so they ended up doing this. what are these sort of acting/agency even called?

People think I'm rude, I just say if you don't want to know don't ask.
I would like to add that not all INTP's are good in math or like Science. I for myself are more talented in the Arts Department :)
:)
Same. I'm horrible at math but pretty alright at symbolic logic (head scratches). I'm a philosophy nerd tho.
I hate math as well but I love physics for some reason I do not get 🤣
Same, I'm terrible at math(though of course, it's incredibly profound and useful)... My strengths are philosophy and political science.
I’m fairly good at both but definitely lean more to the arts and creative projects! Glad to hear there are more of us! 😅
As an intp I strongly relate to the dark humor and sarcasm part 😆 I just live for these things

INTPs have the highest IQ.
