The Z1 900 was the first 'Superbike' - I rode one of the first ones in Australia from Brisbane to Melbourne around 1972 - on the highway with 6 cars in a line in front of me doodling along at maybe 50mph, I wouldn't bother to change down, I'd just wind the throttle in top gear, and hang on for dear life to not get pulled off the back by the acceleration. I would typically be doing 100mph by the time I passed the sixth car. Relative to anything else on the road at the time, I certainly felt like King of the Road !
I'm 64 y.o. and it is great to see the young guys' great passion on "real bikes". You really have a great taste. All the best.
Thank you.
Air-cooled Japanese motorcycles are rare and very expensive,
so modifications to this extent are unusual.
That crash bung hanging of those two ignition cover bokts is freaking me out...imagine the mess that would make if it gets dropped.
This is a common method in Japan.
最高です🎉
これ、外装が変わってもカッコいいんですよ✨
