    You have the best content of ANY of the other boot channels. This interview was nothing short of amazing. I love hearing about boots and the business aspect of it as well. Fascinating. You have a natural ability to put the person you are speaking with at ease and it really enhances interviews.

    Great interview. I will strongly recommend Parkhurst boots to anyone thats looking to purchase high quality boots. The leathers Parkhurst offers are amazing. For me Parkhurst has the best moc-toe boots in the market. Andrew is great, the customer service he provides is awesome.

    My hats off to both of you for a great interview and Andrew’s humbleness and insight to starting a boot company.
    As Andrew mentions all the highs and lows of getting his company off the ground .
    He’s done well and I raise my glass ( and boots ! ) to much more going forward .

    Great interview! I just bought the Delaware factory sample in natural double shot and it was fun to hear Andrew talk bout how factory samples come to be. Will be interested to see what the final release looks like and if it differs from my sample. Part of me hopes they change a decent amount so I have an odd duck pair which would be fun. Love the boots, the double shot feels great, and the last feels great on my feet. My first pair of Parkhurst, based a lot on your continued positive words about the brand, and I’ll be buying more soon! Thanks for the great content!

    This dude is majorly underselling his service and attention to detail. I recently bought a pair of Richmond boots (SECONDS!) in rust-colored leather, and he helped me zero in on my size, had a sense of the characteristics of the exact pair of seconds I was looking at, and signed 😮the “thank you” card that came with the boots. Also, the boots themselves are spot on, quality-wise.

    This was a great interview Teik! Before I watched it I saw it was 1 hour +; I wasn't sure if I could hang in for the the full interview. My concerns weren't founded I could've watched a 2 hour+ interview! 👏

    Teik, Andrew, thank you for this chill and honest conversation. I felt like I was just sitting there with both of you, with a coffee (or beer) in my hand, chatting with a couple of pals-nothing like understanding the WHY behind the brands we love. Andrew, when I get my first pair, that will be because of you and your vision, my friend 👌. And Teik, as usual, excellent content, mate, smooth conversation. Thanks!

    I’ll share my experience with the Parkhurst brand. I bought the cumulus kudu and dark burgundy double shots back in Jan 2023. The 602 last is one of the best lasts out there. Tight where it needs to be and spacious where it needs to be. One of the most comfortable boots/lasts out there imo. However I had issues with my dark burgundy pair. After the first wear, the left boot started developing a popping sound that was easily heard when walking. I could also feel something snapping inside the boot around the arch area. I contacted Andrew and he offered a return label so he could inspect the boot. He had the pair of boots for about a month. In the month he had the pair, he stated he wasn’t able to replicate the sound. He had taken the heel apart to see if there was something in the heel causing the pop. Added a few extra nails and sent the boots back to me. I got the boots and the popping sound persisted. I once again contacted Andrew about the issue. His response was basically to address the issue, he needed to take the boot apart, buy material if needed which would cost time and money. He basically said he couldn’t assist further. This response didn’t sit well with me as I paid the full price on the boot and it had a defect. The cumulus pair I have, never gave me this issue so I know something was up with this particular pair.

      It’s not easy when the person trying to fix it couldn’t replicate the defect - I had that problem with my car, every time I took it to the garage they couldn’t hear the rattle. It might need your feet in it to replicate your gait as you walk. Have you tried wearing it to a cobbler, getting him to listen to it and get his opinion on what it is, then reporting to Andrew? More information could be useful.

    • @hzdjoker1548
      @hzdjoker1548 Год назад

      @@Bootlosophy I did take it to a local cobbler to replicate the sound. The cobbler’s guess was that something was up with the shank. Similar to what Andrew said, the cobbler said the only way to verify would be to take the boot apart…which would cost money. Hard to invest more hard earn money on an item that came defective. I get that sometimes these things happen. Just sucks to have to pay so much for the boots and have to be told the only way to fix them is to drop even more money on them when they are practically new.

      Had that issue with my dress shoes in the past - a broken shank. Had to return them in store. I imagine that is a full resole
