- Today I react to Nightwish "How's The Heart" acoustic verison For the very first time. Who is Nghtwish? My favorite band on this planet. Floor Jansen just so happens to be tattooed on my leg. This song in particular is a statement we in the Nightwish Army use to ask each other how we are...How's The Heart ❤ is OURS! Nightwish has, and ALWAYS will be a part of who I am as a human being....I will FOREVER show them love, as they've healed me from all of the turmoil I never should've had in the first place...I OWE THEM....Always!!!

Did you know that Tuomas wrote the second verse as a surprice for Floor. It’s about when Floor met Hannes in Grand Rapids and them having Freya together.
@@korvkioskshelvete I did not know that until today! But what a sweet thing for Tuomas to do for them!!! Nightwish is selflessness. They are true love ❤️. Nightwish is honesty and loyalty! Noble as they come. They just light up our lives, don’t they?!!! 😊 her voice alone could soothe a savage beast! I bet if Floor went and sang to a tiger, it would lick her face, and cuddle up to her!!! I hope she doesn’t try that btw 😂

Hi Jen. I read an interview with Troy at Metall Hammer. In it Troy said that the band has been completely satisfied and balanced since Floor has been with them. And Floor is a real powerhouse. She can do everything on stage. I'm 71 years old now and I'm totally addicted to Nightwish. I go to classical concerts a lot, so I think I can say: Thomas is one of the really great composers. Jen i truly believe once Nightwish hits the airwaves in America ..they will just take off like no other band in modern times ..keep on pressing the stations Jen , maybe it will bear fruit ...there's no reason Nightish shouldnt be selling out venues like Madison Square Garden ...NO REASON !!!!

Thank you, Jen. This song especially warms my heart, knowing how personal it is to Floor. Especially this acoustic version, so intimate and delicate ... which Troy also brought with it. And true ... It's easy for anyone to put a Nigtwish video here and react to it. And there is nothing in it. Pum! A few thousand likes easily ... But this is so much more, just like you said, so I can easily agree with the words in this song.

Only found them when I was seriously sick with Covid and they helped me recover and became my favourite band of all time. Have tickets to see them in 2 weeks provided we don’t lock down.

This is one of my absolute favorites. The message is so beautiful: kindness, caring and love. The album version is great, but this acoustic performance is so utterly beautiful with immense vocal power at the end. ⛄🌹👍

Just Yen, you are so right about what you say about Nightwish and Floor. I am in the rabbit hole too since 2012 and listen to them every day. Despite they are very popular, they are humble people aswell.. I was on their show in Amsterdam on the 27 -11-2022. Besides the most beautifull voice, superb stage presence and joy she gives she is also a very strong woman. Thank you for your fine comments, although i have all the dvd’s i listen to Nightwish on your channel, enjoying your love for the band. 12:39

Last year i needed a psychologist because i have PTSD......My psychologist has done a great job but........Floor (also her covers) and Nightwish helped me the most in difficult times.
I don't know what it is with Floor...she has something i can't explain but she makes me happy,smile and cry.

@@JustJenRx it was so amazing in so many levels Jen. For the first time in a very long time, i had a night out with a good friend of mine. We ate some good food, had some beers and watched the concert.
My friend like metal, but had never really listen much to Nightwish. We have been to quite a few concerts together before( i think the last concert we vent to was Rammstein).He was very impressed with the music and i had to laugh when he said during the concert: Holy F**** that lady can sing! 😂
You will not be disappointed Jen 😊 Even without Marko they sound amazing.(missed him tho😢)
Next for me is Wembley in 2 weeks if the world not fuck up again.😊

For me, Nightwish's music is the only thing that understands me (musically or lyrically). Basically, you can put all my life story together with Nightwish songs.

Interesting that you should mention that Nightwish entered your life when you needed them the most. While I started to listen to Nightwish about 20 years ago, I stopped following the progress of the band when Tarja was dismissed. A couple of years ago, my mum's unexpected death sent me spiraling down, but YT suggested not that long thereafter that I should check out Floor in Beste Zangers. After watching "Phantom of the Opera" and shrieking myself hoarse in excitement, I started to check out live clips with Floor in Nightwish and that's how I returned to the Nightwish fold! A bit to my surprise, I became an even more avid fan than all those years ago. Nightwish, especially now with Floor, touches something deep within me in a way no other music has. It's not just about the superb musicianship, Floor's vocal skills and ability to emote, nor the deep, meaningful lyrics. It's like there's also some sort of intangible factor there that I can't quite explain. I have no doubt in my mind that Nightwish has indeed had a healing effect on me and that they returned into my life when I really did need them.

This song was written by Tuomas for Floor and her daughter Freya!
Not all composition. Tuomas wrote this about the need of human empathy, but he wrote two verses in the song to honor Freya, Floor and Hannes 👍

Just came across your channel by chance, always interested in watching reactions to for me new Nightwish reactions. This is actually my fave song atm, it gives me so much. I used to listen to them back in the day as a teen and re discovered them last year when they unlocked some stuff fo me
These 6 people are role models for how to behave. And song is exactly what I mean. Even though the message in it was so important for Tuomas, he also managed to get Floor in it as well - in the most respectful way. That's writing.
And Floor is giving back by giving all the songs passion and emotions like none other performer are able to.
This tells more than words how these people respect each other and loves what they are doing - together!

As far as people quitting Nightwish reactions, it seems that a lot of reactors use certain groups to build their channels and then kick bands to the curb. I've seen this with Home Free and also Nightwish. It's so sad. 🙃
Yeah they do it for clicks and subs. It’s quite sad. I’ve even seen Nightwish being used as a weapon. Thankfully we all know what time it is. I wish they’d just sit in their cars and just hear them. If you let Nightwish into your life, it will change for the better!!!
