How is it that they made the most fluid parkour system then regressed and now had to completely start from scratch again?

Unity’s parkour system was top tier
@ac_nerd9794 unity had the best park core and even syndicate had it decently down right but they like nope let make it shit
@@ddogbeast9412 They changed the games because of people complaining about every little thing. It's not like Unity was just amazing because it's not. It's inconsistent, has weird animations, sometimes you can't control where your trying to go, but that's covered up with flashy moves, and more control. It's not bad but it ain't perfect. The problem is Ubisoft could probably make another game with parkour as the focus, but if it ain't like Unity, it'll be called bad.
Atleast it’s an actual assassin again.

Ubisoft has been a shell of itself for a very very long time, a company way past it’s golden days. A sad thing to see, but the rate they go with creating so many soulless products that flop that they pour money into they’ll be outta business within the next decade or so

@@doyourresearch1470 facts. I've not been hyped for a creed game in years. The only time they'll get big sales is when they put it up at half price. What adds more salt to the wound is the fact that the older creeds have seen more player counts then Valhalla for a while (not suprising to say the least).

Exact same here. Played origins. Didn’t even bother with odyssey or Valhalla and mirage is my first game back. Hope they bring back the parkour from unity and the story telling from ezio and the Kenways
i beat the game already and i wont say anything just incase u still playing but what jor said is 100% but also the parkour is way better than i thought it would be and this is more in line with the games where u played as desmond but still with hints of acv since this game was meant to be an expansion for acv but part way through it became its own game
Well the story sucks and there is NOTHING, and i mean NOTHING worth doing beside the main story, which lasted me for about 5 hours.

I was actually pleasantly surprised at how much I am enjoying mirage. I went in thinking it was gonna be just okay but I’m actually having a ton of fun with it and I’m finding it hard to put the controller down. It’s just such a breath of fresh air.
My expectations for this game were just right and now I’ve been having a lot of fun. Played the game for like 3 days straight and finished the story and some side content. Now I’m doing more side content and still having fun
I like it so far. It feels as close to return to roots as we're ever going to get.
My expectations werent all that high and i loved it
i tried playing it but starfield just sounded so much more fun at the moment. once i get tired of being a space pirate cowboy i’ll probably love mirage 😂

I feel like we expect more from a “Valhalla Expansion” if it is it’s own game. Last time I remember this happening was with Zelda and to my knowledge “it’s just an expansion” wasn’t said in response to negative feedback as much as this.
That was a really quick but fair review.

Ghost of Tsushima was such an amazing game! Truly felt more like an ac game than the junk they've put out for the franchise these last few years (close to a decade😂)
Ghost of Tsushima is a masterpiece but it doesn’t quite fill the same niche that Assassin’s Creed does. They’re historical stealth games but the similarities end there.

The first i dont even think is a flaw (unless I'm misinterpreting your phrasing). I think tools are essential to an Assassin in combat too. Its great that we're getting some of that Assassin fantasy back where you actually have to make meticulous decisions about your approach and not just ooga booga your way through the game.
I've watched a lot of mirage videos and i think you can rambo the whole thing. Just throw a bunch of smoke bombs in mid fight, the opponents will not be able to move or see you. So much for 'stealth'.. At least in valhalla you get the satisfaction to actually fight the opponents where they will fight back, not just standing there coughing waiting to be stabbed 😅
I thought it was very short but that is coming from someone who played the full story of Assassin's Creed Valhalla and finished the siege of Paris DLC and the Wrath Of The Druids DLC
im glad i've played every ac game except valhalla, so im going into mirage without prior knowledge of how valhalla's mechanics are similar
It definitely feels like an expansion but I am enjoying it so far
Ya kinda sucks basim not as strong as previous protagonist but im ok with having to outsmart my enemies it makes it more challenging
every game has its flaws, we finally got a true assassin game and it’s amazing!! i recommend it to everyone, yes it’s a little short but i do think this game will get plenty of dlc and it definitely feels like they want another game with basim the way mirage ends

It’s a step in the right direction and fun playing again as an actual assassin. If all else fails they could do a Cod MW and just reboot the Ezio games.

I'm happy as long as the story and stealth is good. The past two games kept making me forget it's assassin's creed. Past two characters weren't assassins, the main bad guys in odyssey was a random cult and the order of the ancients in valhalla was a side threat. Also the stealth in valhalla was terrible. One of many reasons for that is the sight of the guards was unbelievable.
The game looks good to me. People calling the game trash already cause it doesn’t have unity parkour are just childish

@@kennysmith8795 Same, well i only got into the franchise when Origins dropped but Origins got me hooked on Ac and after i played through it, i slowy worked myself through the franchise
But still i see "OG" fans still complaining about Mirage from what we have seen so far and also there is a difference between OG fans and "OG" fans, if you get what i mean
OG fans love Ac and played all the games like you and me, and then we have "OG" fans who only played the old games and have nostalgia glasses on calling the old games the best thing to exist while they cry and complain about the new titles

This was what I needed to hear/see to unwishlist this game, if it feels like Valhalla at all or any of the other RPG assassin games I’m out, sorry to those who get upset and think I’m just one of those OG AC fanboys but that’s just my preference.

So I got a question for those who have played in Odyssey and origins you have to be a certain level to take on certain enemies is that the case in this one?
So I follow a few RUclipsrs that got to try it out early and there was a few of them that said that the parkour starts off slow and kind of rugged because he’s not trained in professional yet but the further you get in the game in the more you do it just like in real life you’ll get better so after his training he is better but it’s still not where it is supposed to be but I’ll keep getting better and better and better just like real life and I actually like that

This is the problem I have with the new games. The fact that playing as an assassin is a stand out feature in a spin off game of a series literally called Assassin's Creed is absolutely ridiculous.

I doubt Mirage will work on a Low-End PC, though.

Ubisoft can paint this game as pretty as they want but since they've dumped steaming piles of crap in my lap the last few games I'm not wasting my time getting hyped for this one.
