    Love your performance of this etude, Josh. I've heard many recordings, but yours is like like a breath of fresh air. Too many people play it far too fast, just because they can, and all the little subtleties are lost. I would love to be able to have lessons with you! :)

      Brian Larter the piece should be played fast. U need to respect the sheet u may put emotion in "rallentando" parts

      Then you'd love my performance, I'd have to play it Adagio. Just kidding. Josh Wright plays it only slightly slower than Moura Lympany (about five seconds fewer total duration) yet never sounds dragging.

    His first left hand chord has sustain and should be staccato
