Beautiful train ride, especially with the snow!! I recommend also visiting the cute village of Filisur, and stay on the train until Tirano to see the spiral viaduct in Brusio!
Switzerland is difinetly one of the most beautiful countries in Europe, I ve got he chance to visit it back in 2006, just amazing panorama and nature , thanks for sharing this 👍
Good video! Love the Bernina express! Looked like fun going down the hill. Each video you show during COVID I just can’t believe how few people there are.
How good are those windows in that train! soo good! I have always wanted to go on a train like this - thanks for increasing my excitement about it, will be adding to bucket list to go through snowy areas on this train.
just want to know if you are aloud to stop in every station with same ticket or you have to purchase separate tickets for every stop. i see you stopped at different station and explored the area. just like a hop off hop on train
How did you get back on the Bernina express? I thought you had to pay for seat if you want to hop back on along the way? Please help! I am planning my trip in August and I have no idea how I will be doing it.
The landscape is incredible! The train was so empty huh?! The mountain in snow looks gorgeous as well. Such a beautiful country. I will put it in my bucket list now.
You only need to reserve for the panoramic trains, so we did that 2x (versus repeatedly hopping on and off) you don’t need to reserve the other types of wagons (and the views are just as beautiful just without the full window-wall)
How many hours is the ride? Can you get off to stretch?? Does it start and finish at the sane city? As of 2022, what the cost? Any discount for young seniors?
Just a practical question....you need to get reservations for this, how does this work if you want to break up the journey in st moritz....I guess if you get back on a later one for the rest of the journey you would need to pay for two reservations?
I too have the same question. They did not mention if they boarded the same train or if it was different trains on different days. I don't think they have that much time to hop on and hop off. They should have done a better job by providing more details.
@@kishorekuc I have now been and done my trip. So the Bernina you cannot just hop on and off. But the local train you can just buy tickets and they are cheap. There is very little difference between the local train, and the Bernina other than the ceiling is glass and you have more glass to look through. We ended up taking the Bernina and I am glad I did for the views. But the next time I will take the local train. Every single stop looks so amazing that we wanted to get out and explore. I may make a trip just to do that. We took it from Italy to Saint Moritz. But we actually got off a stop or two earlier at a glacier. I forget the name, but I can find it. We had actually missed the stop because the train only stops for a few seconds and we didn’t have enough time lol. The train guy told us to get off at the next stop and just walk it back, which we did although we were very worried. It was actually a lovely walk and I am so glad that we got off at that stop because we had the best time ever. There was a beautiful restaurant that we had lunch at. We watched all the people skiing. We never had time to look around Saint Moritz, but I didn’t care. I think this was so much better. This was easily the best day of my whole trip. if you add me on Facebook, I would be happy to send you more information or pictures. Just let me know who you are when you message me. To get back to Saint Moritz we simply bought a local train ticket and took it to Saint Moritz to get back on the Bernina. On our way back. It all worked out great.
@@kishorekuc the name of the stop and glacier is Diavolezza. There is a train station there to take the local train back to st moritz. I think they came every 20 min. There is a restaurant at the top of the glacier. I think the cable car was around $90 a person so plan for that
So cute! This was so useful, thank you. One question - did you need to reserve a seat on the different trains you took so you could make those stops? I'm planning on getting the Bernina this weekend :)
@@altheaa2071 Hi Althea, yeh it was incredible thank you. I ended up just getting the one train and not stopping off but hands down the most beautiful train ride I've been on. There's a video on my channel showing how it went if you're interested x
TOTALLY DO NOT RECOMEND IT ! he service at the Bernina express is not worth the money. Service is bad, if there are closures, they take you by public bus and do NOT refund the ticket money. Better take the regular train. Also, on the return is done mostly at night so you can NOT see anything !!! TOTALLY DO NOT RECOMEND IT !

so cool cảm giác thật tuyệt 👍😮 😁🌺
great journey
Awesome video, thank you, At which time (month) of the year did this trip happen?
Will it not be too glaring when the sun is very bright and hot. I am asking this because the train is full of glass window.
The landscape is incredible! The train was so empty huh?! The mountain in snow looks gorgeous as well. Such a beautiful country. I will put it in my bucket list now.
i felt this train wonders rather than Glacier Exp, may i know which month you travelled with this train
I read you cannot get off of these trains without paying reservation fees each time. How did you do this to hike which I'd like to do possibly? Thanks

How do you go back to zurich? Can you do the bernina express in one day ? If so how if im staying at interlaken or Zurich
If I stay in Wengen,. Should I go to chur for the Bernina express ? If I travel upto tirano then can i come back to wengen on the same day ? How ?
Can you get on and off the train? Or do you have to purchase another ticket
Hello hello! Just stopping by and showing some support =) Big thumbs up and full watch for you! See you again soon!

How do we book the Bernina Express and is there a way we could start at Chur? When I type Bernina Express Tours, everything is from Milan 😅
Yes when you book you can start midway you’ll just reserve your seat for that part of the journey
This is first or second class?
