Like seeing the difference between the frantic twisting at 1:59 to the silent heel-toeing at 2:05 is just mind-bogglingly magical. Truly a play of the gods…
while chris is best in terms of accuracy and speed, fefemz tech is on another level. even on seemingly impossible piu charts for many, he can do it with ease.
i almost feel like this is a difference between american and japanese/korean players. compare a guy like marqqq, who barely even looks like he’s trying, to someone like hibiki who makes everything look spectacular. really cool how there are so many ways to accomplish the goal of “step on the arrow when it reaches the step zone”
right?? i'm not sure if it's right to call it grace, but his footwork earlier in the song is so silent and even looks effortless, yet it's full of marvelous except on the sudden spikes. even the transition from those smooth twists to the minimal heel-toeing at 1:35 was all perfect yet looked so impossible, how does he do it...

So many crazy things about this video: - the dangling power strip 😆 - the way he keeps his toes above LR and hits them with his heels, at one point hitting the right side of the up arrow with his right heel??? that's pump form lmao - he switches the way he hits cross-unders, but usually he does right leg with heel and left leg with toe - when he hits the up arrow jacks at 1:58, he basically holds his toe on the center of the panel and triggers the close sensor by focusing movement on his heel. fuckin smart - he side steps the second to last jump dude is a genius

What I admire about FEFEMZ is he always plays the original chart. Unlike the other players who use turns/mirror or random to make the chart a bit easier.

Can anyone do the calculations of what score Hibiki would have gotten if he had not missed, got a marvelous or perfect and if it would have beaten fefemz score here and ex score? Hibiki got: 101/102 perfects and 3 greats Fefemz: 91 perfects and 5 greats I'd wager hibiki would win on score and fefemz on EX.
