DIY 24V 6AMP POWERFUL SMPS

  • Hello guys, today in this video i have showed you an powerful 24v 6amp SMPS. This circuit uses OB2269 IC. The circuit has an adjustable output voltage from 27v to 17v. It has all protection like over current protection, short circuit protection . I have used EE35 transformer with an air gap of 1mm. I have use IRF840 MOSFET, you can use any N channel MOSFET working at 500vdc or above. Feel free to ask any question in the comments.

    Its a simple flyback regulator with RCD snubber, and snubber can't remove all voltage spikes, so this 500v mosfet is not the good choice it will get overheated and die soon ....... Although good video,.,.. make a video on active clamp circuit instead of rcd snubber or push pull regulator..... That will work with 500v mosfet

      @@Mechechao9382 it’s the auxiliary winding. It contains 6 turns and that 1 turn is just an example about the starting point and the winding direction 😊

    I think we can change output voltage range with TL431's connected resistors value right?
    can we make a Li-Ion battery charger adapter(for 4 S battery) with this circuit (need 16,8 volt CC MODE)

      Thanks. Yes you need to change the feedback resistor for changing the output voltage but if you increase or decrease the voltage more, then you have to change the secondary turns also. You can get 16.8v but not CC

      Very easy, change the secondary to 10 turns and change the 1K feedback resistor to 680ohm and don’t forget to use 50v capacitors at the output

      But 0.5mm wire can handle maximum 68KHz frequency as 100% skin depth. Will not this transformer give sound or heatup?

      @@MrRais66 actually the diameter of the wire is a bit less than 0.5MM and also the working frequency is between 65-75khz (depends of the tolerance of the rt resistor) so there are no problems

      1.Use inductor between 20uh to 30uh on a iron powder core( yellow colour toroid)
      2. You can make it on zero pcb
