Not sure if you will see this but I have created a map with a well-being score of 58 and golems running my geothermal plant my beavers are better than the golems and I would like to show it to you if you say yes I will make a recording and post it on my channel
Het matt, I am kind of worried, are we sure that Patty isnt a secret spy for the architect beavers? We have all seen him secretly dispatching all the engineering beavers...
Matt, priotize your geothermal plant by haulers and low priotize it as a workplace. So no one works in there, but it stays stocked with water to keep running, similar to the engine.
You can low priority your engines/nuclear plants so nobody is working in there, but they are still providing power. Just make sure you check the box for prioritize by haulers so the engine/nuclear plants don’t run out of supplies
@@purplesnowman98 the engines will run as long as they have fuel. The workers only job is to keep it full of logs. If you have a hauling post, the haulers will do that and you don’t need a worker

I recommend making the bots construct more bots. Bots don't need to sleep, thus ensuring you have a constant supply of bots. Also, I think the Folkstails call their mechanical beavers golems.
Hey Matt, you should connect the geothermal grid with the industrial section so you don't need the engines anymore, only the geothermal and using the other tips about haulers, you will exploit everything correctly.
isn't there already an update that removed districts and distribution post? he's not playing on the new system yet. Ah, experimental version of the game. I forgot about that xD.
@@takumi2023 didn't the update just extend district range to the whole map, removing the need for more districts and distribution posts but not removing the items themselves so they're still around in RCE's game from when they were needed when the range was limited
@@takumi2023 It's on the Experimental branch, but they're still doing bugfixes and improvements to it pretty much daily. I expect it'll be released formally pretty soon.
I had an district that was all Bots. There was the mine, facilities to make planks, treated planks, gears et al, they worked the water pumps, created the biofuel, totally independant. However, they have a lifespan and they pretty much all failed because I was working on the beaver side of life. If they fail in, say, the biofuel refinery, like mine did, then eventually they all drag their butts and die.
You need to either replenish the district with automatic migration, or give them bot construction capacity as well. Same as an Ironteeth district with no beaver pods.
@@purplepenguin43 it's a monument to human (or beaver) enginuity, plus a self-sustainable tower is one of the less architectural things Matt would have made, plus he already made one
Matt is going to run into a problem with his land excavators. The land he put them on is very close to the bottom of the map. The last time I used one, it stopped working once it hit the bottom. That means he won't be able to complete his land project unless he uses the dev tools to finish it. Though I'm now wondering if you can put the control part on a platform and let the digging part hang out over water. That would allow him to make the reservoir even deeper while obtaining dirt.
Update: It tested it out. You can place the control portion of the excavator on top of a platform and let the digging part hang out over water. It works as normal until you hit the bottom of the map.
11:08 I wonder how those inaccessible bits of dynamite got placed when there are no paths to reach the tiles? Don't worry, your secret's safe with me. Consider my disbelief suspended ;)
Matt, just build a few gravity batteries to store up power for the power plant, then even if you suddenly have to shift around beavers you'll still have power
Fun fact about Beavers... They only have one hole for doing all the things just like birds. It's called a Cloaca, so that charging station would be pretty accurate.
Hey RCE, I know it is not the type of game that you play usually, but I think it would be great for you to do "Engineer plays The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom" It would be funny to use your skills to make contraptions in the game.

(tip: always keep 1 or more unemployed beavers in each district, the take care of breeding(ironteeth) and fill empty workplaces that may appear)
what about putting the big water pumps, and storage next to the plant so it is closer and after you get enough bots they will never need to leave the area
I believe you need 2 golem assemblers for 3 part factories to make it efficient also put the bots is heavy jobs like the golem factories them selves and the efficient mine
I Know how this sires is going to end. He is going to build up that farming area which is going to raise the water levels and if the water can't drain/evaporate off fast enough, the maps gonna flood. Idk, just a theory.
Beavers get injured alot when they work in dangerus jobs like mines, bot facotys, and dynomite factorys. First thing I allways do is put bots into those jobs so I dont allways have like 20 hurt beavers waiting to get healed.
