  • This 1964 AEC Regent is now back on the road following some maintenance work on the fuel and cooling systems. Here's the AV690 engine ticking over. There's a slight drip from injector number 3 as this was the first initial test run. This fuel line was nipped up and now doesn't leak, but this is why we do tests...

    The same as used in RML's yet doesn't sound the same. Strange diesel engines all work on the same principle yet one type, i.e AEC, Foden, Bristol, Gardner don't sound the same. AEC and Leyland had a great sound with the whining Wilson gearbox gave the vehicles added character.
