AMEN!! I'm only a kid but yesterday when I was sleeping (keep in mind i asked The Lord to show his presence to me) i heard a trembling sound from the sky (no storm was supposed to happen) and as I was sleeping i THOUGHT it was a storm like a small storm that happens for 2 min, but then a light flashed! Then I woke up, my mom didn't hear anything. but I started trembling and I was afraid
I've heard that THIS is the year of God's favor every year since I was saved 16 years ago. If I could just believe hard enough, align myself enough, send in a big enough seed with the right amount of faith,maybe, just maybe I could walk in God's Supernatural Favor!
You know maybe you dislike God's way of doing things. Many do. Many disliked Jesus because they felt things should go another way. Cain didn't like how God did things because God was for Abel's giving and against his. I think you should go in prayer and say, Heavenly Father, give me understanding, and help me to receive even if I feel it goes against the grain. Amen.
Please don't become weary, that's where the enemy wants you, just because you don't understand something right now doesn't mean that God's favor isn't on you. He loves you, you know that. If you're a Christian and you're walking with the Lord then the favor of God is on your life. Begin to say, I have the favor of God on my life. Its all in God's timing. Be blessed.

thanks to darin cox, i did do my own research and found that "hagah" (strong's hebrew: 1897) does mean to meditate, to moan, growl, utter, speak, muse and that "mashal" (strong's hebrew: 4910) does mean to rule, have dominion, reign. be like the Bereans in Acts 17:11 who fact checked everything Paul said according to scripture.

I'm sorry if I sound cynical. I've become disillusioned by this approach to God. It all seems to hinge on my actions causing God to bless me. Maybe a better way would be to just Love The Lord with all my might! It is hard to develop real love if you are always disappointed. I want to love God because He is God, not for the benefits I think He can give me. I'm just burned out. Pray for me please!

If you 'Love the Lord with all your might' as you say, then you would first give yourself to him, and then He would give back to you in return. There is no way God could love you and Not give to you or vice versa. That's how He created LOVE.
I think the way to love God more, is to better understand his unconditional love for you! He loves you whether you listen to him or not, whether you do what he says or not. Instead of trying to love him through force, focus on understanding his love for you instead, then when we know this in our hearts, it helps us love him and naturally leads us to act accordingly :)
