I have been told from many friends "you are not good enough for me" from many friends. They have come for some advice from me with that damn phrase. It is sad to see good people called "no good" Just from some superficial reasons. I think I would just turn my back and laught at her as I walk away if a girl ever said that to me.

I think in the comments of a story it's a good thing to try to discuss why a character may have acted that way as well.
Comparing with others in this way we can grow by learning how others can see things differently from us.
So I think it's normal to find excuses for his behavior rather than an offense for what he did.

The child should never have to walk the path the parents did. It should always be up to the child even if they are oblivious to how important it is. Because they would just feel oppressed each time they hit a wall and they have trouble going over it. Then it builds up until they break down from the pressure.
MC is not forced. It is his own thinking that if he is engaged to FMC, then at least in his eyes, he is worthy of her if he is the inheritor of his father's company. Well, she was already his fiancee, so it was absolutely normal for her to know AT LEAST, his birthday, his weight, his height and his favourite food.
