If you are going to have a deal with SpaceX for Roadster parts, you'll also have a bulk deal with your steel supplier. Imagine if SpaceX makes 100 Starships per year at some point. The steel contracts will be extremely low cost. Good idea to target more vehicles using steel. That would also work out for SpaceX to increase their economy of scale as well. Flat panel steel is key to both products. CyberTruck and CyberCab. Makes economic sense.

      @AquarianSoulTimeTraveler Месяц назад

The question is why the hell would Tesla sell to its competition like Uber or Lyft it doesn't make any sense once full self-driving is complete they're going to pretty much stop selling Tesla vehicles to the public because full self-driving is going to be $250,000 nobody's going to be buying it... only the one smart enough to buy it now and lock in their price will be given the ability to operate with the Tesla taxi Fleet before its strictly tesla owned service in a hundred plus years.

    • @AquarianSoulTimeTraveler
      @AquarianSoulTimeTraveler Месяц назад

Just imagine reserving multiple cyber trucks with the full self-driving feature and its price locked in and waiting for the single motorcycle truck which will be released last and the Tesla taxi Fleet will be up and operational allowing seamless integration of the vehicles onto the robotaxi fleet... the great thing is according to the contract the features and feature price is locked in... 3 cybertrucks $300 reservation fee. Minimal total income of 1.5mil over a million miles... ( after a million miles cybertrucks battery it's only lost 10% of its capacity supposedly)

    • @AquarianSoulTimeTraveler
      @AquarianSoulTimeTraveler Месяц назад

18:46 I totally disagree with this statement... this is why Elon Musk is going to China and setting up full self-driving over there they are willing to let it happen more willingly than the US government who is controlled by big Auto establishments and UAW cronies. Elon Musk will give the technology to China and China will be the first one with full self-driving if America trys to hold back Tesla and its ability to be rated as level five once it has properly demonstrated it is level five.

At 31 may 2019 the Tesla stock price was 12,34 dollar (or 12,34*15= 185 dollar before the two stock splits).
By the end of 2020 the Tesla stock price was 235 dollar (or 235*15= 3525 dollar before the two stock splits).
To be clear, 235 dollar is significantly higher then it's current price in 2024.
Tesla stock grew nearly a 20X in 1,5 year.
Tesla in 2019 had a revenue of 24B.
In 2023 Tesla had a revenue of 96B.
Since 2019 Tesla's revenue grew by about 40% a year.
    12,34*1.4*1.4*1.4*1.4*1.4 = 66 dollars.
Meanwhile, Tesla no longer has any debt, in fact, they got 10s of billions of dollars laying around. Meanwhile, Tesla proved they could grow as fast as they predicted, FSD and robotaxi's are about to become reality.
I mean... The stock shouldn't just be higher, the stock should be like a hell of a lot higher then it is right now.

Imagine making a taxi with a revolutionary method for cost savings, investment savings and production speed. Make the taxi ultra efficient, low energy consumption and low maintenance. And then make it drive itself and pocket the driver's salary... When scaled, slash prices and make the competition work with you (to avoid monopoly etc.) You only have to imagine it for 1-2 years more. Then it's gonna be reality.

There's definitely potential for the stock price to bounce on related news in the short term--a licensing agreement with a legacy automaker (e.g. Ford) or a pilot project doing essentially what Waymo has. But no way there's a 10x before the profit is showing through. Look at Nvidia, the potential of AI compute had been circling for awhile, but it wasn't until the financials reflected it that things took off. The market can be irrationally exuberant, but it won't make Tesla the largest market cap in the world without tangible proof in the financials.
Could definitely see hype getting us a new ATH at least by 2027 which is still more than 2x in 3 years which would still be solid.

Historically speaking Bitcoin doesnt do much immediately after the halving - but it does do impressive spikes and tops out around 18 or so months afterwards. No one can time the market, but I'd say it's worth considering entering a position at current prices and if further dips occur, just add to your position. Over the long run, there is a higher probability to the upside than the downside, .It's not about guessing the market's next move; it's about playing it smart and steady during trading...managed to grow a nest egg of around 2.4Bitcoin to a decent 18Bitcoin in the space of a few months... Either Phone ("Assistant") proximity, Voice, or Face recognition.
      .
So that ties YOU to the vehicle over a given time period?
      .
When you opened the account, did you read the small print? (Maybe LARGE print?)
      The sections that said
" *If you break it, YOU pay for it* "?

I didn't switch when it first came to my state because it was a similar price and I have USAA which is a known very good auto insurance company. I have been reconsidering recently though as my insurance went up 50% over the past year and Tesla is still much cheaper. Been on the fence because I have not heard good things about Tesla Insurance, their initial quote price is at 90 driver rating and if that goes down (including for false positive forward collision warnings which aren't uncommon) it gets more expensive, and their coverage options aren't as good. In particular, my current plan has no-deductible glass replacement while Tesla does not, which came in handy when someone tried (and failed lol) to break into my car, smashing up the drivers window and the roof with a crowbar, but being stymied by the double paned glass... I actually ended up making a $100 out of the ordeal because my insurance adjuster determined the cost to fix was more than Tesla charged.

My Tesla (using HomeLink) automatically opens the garage door when I pull into the driveway, and closes the garage door every time I back out of my driveway. Poor research on their part.
      Poor Training on their part
      Poor execution on their part.
      .
      BUT
IF you have a system that removes the Human element.
Where the customer doesn't have to "interface" with a human who fails to explain/ demonstrate the car they are about to "DRIVE".....
      .
Where the customer pre-books the vehicle.... Let's say while on the plane...
      Selects the type.
      Provides flight details.
      Journey destination.
Continuos hire, or "Cab by Cab" options (most will take the latter)
      .
      Then the system takes over.
      Monitors the flight landing.
Estimates the average time to clear security/ etc at that airport
Sends a vehicle to a bay at the terminal exit, then sends the "Personal AI Assistant"
(formally "Phone") of the customer the location.
      .
At that point the "AIA" takes control, guiding the customer to the exact location.
The AIA gives the customer a 4 digit code.
10 seconds before the customer arrives the cab displays the same number.
The door unlocks and slides(!) open.
      .
      There's an Automated "Greeting message"
A verbal confirmation of destination, with ETA
A query regarding refreshment (soft drinks, etc on board)
Suggestions of food, comfort stops en-route (if it's a long trip)
      .
      Etc
      .
      No driving
      No demonstration
      Cheap.

      Seats side mounted, space underneath.
A daily valet would be 2 people, 5 minutes.
      .
Outside clean, jet wash. 2-3 minutes.
      .
      Damage/ repair?
Will be flagged by the vehicle cameras, video sent to the repair centre.
      What would make it interesting?
If that vehicle has a cast frame (in sections) and has a set of panels which hang over that frame .
The panel is fibre (not carbon) composite, designed to flex if hit, but if damaged it's held by standard 1/4 turn trim fixings, inside the body line, out of sight.
      .
A panel takes 30 seconds, ok, 45 seconds to replace.
      .
      It's not painted, it's wrapped.
The barcode id of the cab details the computerised wrap print, which may contain advertising.
      .
When the cab arrives at the repair centre, they have a casting section (more likely a "crash can"?) ready in case it's needed And a panel, including the wrap.
      .
It's in the shop for 10 minutes, including a visual inspection, camera and wheel tracking calibration.
A barcode/ QR scan is used to record and bill the work, sent to insurance and the customer.

The hurdles for the cyber cab mentioned here seems to be really lacking something. Realistic daily operation is going to need a local area service facility won’t it? There is going to be tons of these needed everywhere with crew. Small maintenance or repairs will need to be identified and corrected as well as the most important one, cleaning. Especially with post covid germaphobes, but even with mild standards it will matter. Dirty seats, muddy floors or sticky dirty touch areas will need regular attention. Without having a driver in the car someone else is going to have to monitor and resolve any issues.
I could see a “clean me” button in the car could be available for riders to activate if needed. However the cars will still need a facility to return to with crew… or bots. Food for thought, but a quality service will need more than just FSD, cars and charging.

@@darylfoster7944 That’s funny. So, you know that Tesla has insurance as well, right? And Tesla knows exactly how the Tesla drivers are driving. And Tesla charges a fraction of what the other insurance companies are charging, especially for good drivers. That’s how I know. Think.

Whats interesting is 08/08 for the launch date. This is the luckiest number in China.
With the added FSD positive news in China, could Tesla surprise the market with a launch there first?

My Tesla Robotaxis announcement prediction is a new wireless charging network. That’s why they fired everyone in Supercharger division. So on 8/8, be prepared for a new charging technology to be introduced. I believe it will only be wireless instead of a mere mechanical docking station because Tesla goes all out. No half steps. It makes no sense to manually charge your car. It wastes too much time.

Waymo is the equivalent to Hammer industry from Iron Man 2 trying to make a government built Iron Man suit, which maims the human in the test suit, of course Tesla and Elon is Stark in this analogy. It's shocking how much Elon resembles Stark in reality, Elon doesn't use special effects.
