To the peeps that don’t know, this is a cover of a Christian worship song by the same name. The original artist is Hillsong. Anyway I really like this cover!
wow, never could imagine that Saint Mesa would ever cover this song!! The original sounds more hopeful and soft-spoken, while this one .. there's more turmoil in protagonist's heart, a really epic cover
YES I always come running for your new music. I love everything about this. Your imagery is so powerful - it feels like a love song, and an amazing one. Another banger, please never stop ❤
As a former Christian now pagan, this combines aspects of my life in a beautiful way. Haven’t teared up in quite a while but here we are lol. Awesome cover, Saint Mesa.
Absolutely beautiful! I sincerely think you're one of the best artists I've ever heard, so when new music drops, I get excited. This is another lovely song to add to your discography. ❤
I'm a huge fan of this song, and I'm a huge fan of you. This cover is wonderful! A very different feel to the original, but that's what really makes it amazing. Not everyone worships the same! Thank you, and awesome work!
Love the song, not a fan of the imagery in video (doesn't fit the theme of the song in my opinion). I just wish all Christian worship music sounded this epic. I give 2 thumbs up (just imagine the likes one higher).
Agree with you. As a Christian, Saint Mesa has always been kind of a guilty pleasure for me. His images are deeply pagan and unsettling. So this song caught me completely off guard! But the video is even more confusing. That being said, I absolutely love this cover!
There’s a lot of good Christian music out there I’ve come to discover in the past couple of years, not just the lovey dovey sounding ones, different genres and sounds just like secular music 😊
I was part of a hillsong church for a long time before I moved and this is one of my favorite gospels to sing and while I didn't love the imagery as much, I do see the end dance as a dance with our faith, hope, fear and trust in the lord that some struggle with. It's painfully beautiful!
My aesthetic is forsure inspired by thinkings like viking culture and tribal imagery. More so the culture and less the actual pagan religion. I think my goal for this cover and also the video was to create something a bit outside the comfort zone of people who are fans of this song. It’s a beautiful and powerful song that still holds that same power and beauty when put into a non church music context. Glad you like my humble take on this song ✨
I don't think there's a single song by you that I am not obsessed with

Saint mesa was born and his first words were “I’m gonna make nothing but straight bangers”

I actually found this first before the original song, and absolutely love how it simultaneously changes and maintains the wonder from the original
I always write my best scenes while listening to your music. It inspires me.

@@denaslusher861 I appreciate your take on it. Beauty occurs in a lot of different forms and perhaps this is just one outside of my comfort zone 🙂
