    I love this. Hand tools and anyone can learn to do it anywhere. Most RUclipsrs would be showing off some super expensive and complicated laser etching machine. The result would be “perfect” but not half as beautiful.

    A Question:
    I have been practicing making several copies of this pattern, and have trouble making smooth arcs with the v-tool. I recently found recommendations for making the v-tool easier to use by re-shaping the "conical keel" that they come with from the makers so that the keel does not fight against making deep gooves.
    Do you tune up your v-tools in that way?
