      *****
      Greetings, my friend. Since I am not a renown historian on this topic I am unqualified to declare who "stole" whose stuff/land. All I know is that Armenians and Kurds are both ancient inhabitants of Anatolia. My sympathy for the Armenians and other minorities of this region is based on the simple fact that we share a common history of agony under the Ottoman Empire and the successive Republic of Turkey. =)

      @goryounkoyounian9164 10 лет назад +2

      ***** That is nothing more than a conspiracy theory so that Turks and Armenians always remain opposed. I believe that Kurds and Armenians have to be given some territory, and Kurds have to officially apologize for their known role in the Armenian Genocide.

    • @goryounkoyounian9164
      @goryounkoyounian9164 10 лет назад

      ***** Ottoman-Armenians were a minority, to start with, so they were in no position where they could massacre even 100 000 Turks and Kurds. If we really had backstabbed the country, then how is it possible that many Turkish officials would testify to the fact that there was no Armenian armed rebellion, and in the case of Van, the resistance was provoked by the governor Djevded Bey himself who took away two Armenian leaders of that time, S. Vramian and Ishkhan? Plus, on 25 August 1914, Tahsin Bey reports to the Interior Ministry that ''neither before the general mobilization nor after has there been a single person from the Armenian population who has immigrated to Russia or Iran or fled their home. Among the local Armenians there are neither thoughts of revolt or even opposition to the government..On the contrary, among the Dashnaks one can see an attitude of vocal support for and assistance vis-a-vis the government in regard to the general mobilizaiton and the war.''
      So unless Turkish officials are also lying and are full of hatred for Turks, one can see that there was a great exaggeration of the Armenian activities in the Ottoman empire since the beginning of the war until the genocide itself.
      And you cannot justify the cruelty of the Ottoman government against our people on any sort of statement.

    • @goryounkoyounian9164
      @goryounkoyounian9164 10 лет назад +1

      ***** You claim that ''After the Russian revolution , the Russian soldiers pulled back and the Armenians stayed there alone by them selfs. And then the revenge begon. More then 1 million deaths. You deserved that shit.''
      Prepare for an all-important history lesson mr. ignorant: the Russian revolution was in 1917, at a time when the Deportation Law passed by the government was already EXPIRED FOR OVER A YEAR AGO!! Therefore, the Young Turks had already nearly completed the extermination of the Armenian people.
      May I also bring forward a certain document belonging to former Interior Minister Talaat Pasha from EXACTLY 1917, in which he himself claims that over a million Armenians were NO LONGER IN THE EMPIRE.
      According to the documents, the Armenian population of the Ottoman empire plunged to 284,157 in 1917, 2 years after the start of the mass deportations and massacres! (Note: This number fell even lower by the end of the Turkish War of Independance in 1922: According to Justin McCarthy himself, 70 000 Armenians were left in Anatolia)

    turks are slowly admitting the crimes that the ottoman government committed! many are now apologizing online and to me face to face! they cant hold back all that guilt so they have to apologize! but when someone says hes sorry i cant but forgive him! the turks who apologized are good people in my eyes now and i hope more turks follow that path. peace!

    Unfortunately, Turkish archives aren't that easy to access (I wonder why). But luckily enough, I've actually found transcripts of telegrams from the Minister of the Interior, Talaat ordering the mass killings... It will always continue to amaze me that individuals can deny it based on what they're told, rather than what they've sought to find out for themselves.

    So true. I'm currently writing my dissertation on the Armenian Genocide and as I progress with my research, I find myself getting more and more astonished at how people can deny it. All you need to do is look at the archives and the extensive amount of international governmental documents you can find from this period that outlines what was going on.

    This is the difference between education in Turkey as opposed to the education outside of Turkey. No one can dig deeper into the truth while studying in Turkey because government will have them killed or jailed for a long time. Dr. Taner is not a lier he simpley states the facts of his research. To call someone with Phd poorley educated is defenatly a word of an ignorant. instead of criticizing his speech, listen to him and enlighten your nerrow minds that has noability tosee past ottman empire

    In this article Maxime Gauin is breaking Akcam's book piece by piece. To summarize he claims that Akcam makes use of "distortion of sources, selective evidence and selective indignation." (I'll try to share the link here below, otherwise just google: " “Proving” a “Crime against Humanity”? " ). It would be interesting if someone is able to break Mr. Gauin analyses piece by piece. Please avoid mockery: we could spend a whole life in mockery, but that doesn't say anything about the facts. Link:

      Have you read his book, or just found someone that makes claims , with no evidence to support your supposed argument?. Their are sourced from COUNTLESS first hand witnesses..from
      ALL sides of the conflict. Including Germans..who were allied with turkey. As well as Americans, Brits, French, Japanese, etc. sources. Whether Mr. Ackam
      Wrote the book or not, the evidence is OVERWHELMING. All’s his book really has to do is share even a portion of it. The committee of genocide scholars who do nothing but study genocide, say it was a genocide. Raphael Lempkin; who invented the word, said himself that he came up with the word to describe what happened to the Armenians. To deny the genocide is utterly ridiculous.

    I believe everyone is entitled to their own opinion and i respect that, but your'e just sick. "armenians got what they deserve". You sadden me to think there are people in this world who believe innocent people deserve ( i'm talking about those children and families who were not involved in any protest against the empire ) to die. Please re-think your morality.

    The Armenian Government should allow access to it's archives, but you know well, you'd come up with another denial excuse if the archive was already opened. At least be honest with yourself, though it may be impossible in your case.

    ...If it is all a big lie, then can you explain why there were trials after the war? Can you explain the telegrams from Talaat ordering the killing of Armenians which demand that "no regard must be paid to age, sex, or to conscientious scruple." You were probably unaware of these factors.

      a attribute of the ego to fear threatened by anyone that is different...The Turks have always been proud to conquer others..A nomadic Mongolian people...

    Yeah whenb it came to Russian army marhing he said this is an other sotuiation we talk later, this was the only single reason armenians were deported, Russians promised them their own province if they revolt against the Turksm nd they did,Turks won every war 5 fronts and 6th front inside with armenians, and everyone got what they deserved, all defated,and kiked out from Modern Turkey s today ,Turks lost over 3.78 million people in these wars, and won their country back

    It had nothing to do with Russians but everything to do with connecting turkey and aderbaijan together kardashlar as you call one another. Unfortunatley there was this lilttle country called Armenia, a Christian country that happends to be surrounded with muslim countries along those lines turkey and aderbaijan. So the plan was to destroy Armenia and connect the two muslim countries together. There was no better time to do this then right about the time of the World War I

    Taner Akcam historian ? a professor ? hahaha , really ?
    Altug Taner Akcam was born in Kars-a province where there is a sizeable number of Turkified Armenian families-and he is the son of the leftist writer Dursun Akcam. Taner Akcam became involved in radical leftist activities while he was still a lycee student. His radicalism intensified while he studied at the Middle East Technical University in the early 1970s. Akcam moved from student activism into political terrorism by joining the THKP-C (Turkiye Halk Kurtulus Partisi-Cephesi-Turkish People’s Liberation Party-Front) in 1972-a terrorist organization that was implicated in the assassinations and killings of numerous far-right militants, Turkish security officials, and American and NATO military personnel. In the mid-1970s, Akcam became a leading member of DEV-YOL (Devrimci Yol-Revolutionary Path) and the editor of its periodical Devrimci Genclik Dergisi (Revolutionary Youth Magazine). It might be recalled that DEV-YOL was one of the two principal leftist terrorist organizations (the other being DEV-SOL) that played a major role in the bloody escalation of political violence in Turkey during the 1970s. In the bizarre ideological divisions among the leftist groups that proliferated on the Turkish political scene at the time, DEV-YOL was known as following a “pro-Soviet” line in terms of its international loyalties. DEV-YOL’s bloody terrorist activities, which claimed hundreds of fatalities and a large number of serious injuries, included assassinations, armed attacks, bombings, and bank robberies. The group also achieved notoriety when it set up a so-called “liberated zone” in the town of Fatsa on the Black Sea coast where DEV-YOL militants established their control for several months before being routed by the security forces

    Mr serkan your language is made of Farsi,Arabic and other languages mixed with Mongolian primitive words twisted and caricatured. Any time I see a turkish language comment I laugh . Example. It is not charchuva , it is chahar chube (Farsi). it is not umut , it is Omid (farsi). it is not kervan, it is karavan/ karvan. Tashkilate makhsusa , totaly Arabic, shabakeye ghafila is Arabic....Culture does not grove up in that kind of nomadic language.

    Another coyote under the sheep’s wool: TANER AKCAM IS NOT TURKISH: HE IS A FULL BLOODED ARMENIAN!

    His great grandfather Agopian was an Armenian landlord in Village of Valei near Armenia and Georgia border town of Ahalkeleki. When Russian army invaded Georgia, he changed his name to Hasan and pretended he was a Turkish Muslim to avoid prosecution, but lost his life during a raid.

    His Armenian grandfather was also camouflaged with a Turkish name Eyup escaped to Ardahan with his Georgian wife blending with the fleeing Turks however, soon after he started working for Armenian Tashnaq guerillas as an informant and guide that cost thousands of Turkish and Kurdish refugees lives in bloody massacres. When the First World War ended with Turks gaining the upper hand in the region and resulting the Armenian guerillas scattered all over the world, Eyup’s real identity was finally unmasked. Bereaving Turks lynched him for his treason at the village square in 1928.

    His Armenian father also Turkish named Dursun who was born in 1927 and had Taner Akcam born in the village of Ölçek in 1953. They moved to capital city of Turkey; Ankara shortly after.

    Taner Akcam attended ODTU (Middle East Technical University) and immediately after joined to a Marxist-Leninist Communist terrorist cell, all the while hiding his real identity as an Armenian extremist. His cell mates were a strange mix of ultra-left and ultra-right extremists who had no other purpose than polarizing the nation and weakening the state ripe for a collapse so they could materialize their benefactors’ wishes. When the terrorist activities of his cell became clear, he was arrested in 1976 and sentenced to 9 years in prison where a year later he managed to escape to Germany and was granted political asylum. To name a few, similar acts of violence by these groups at that time were the fatal ambush of a prominent newspaper editor Abdi Ipekci in 1971. His assasin Mehmet Ali Agca who also got caught but broke off the jail same year resurfaced in Rome a few years later with the assassination attempt of Pope John Paul in 1981.

    Contrary to Armenian Photo shopping of Taner Akcam as a “Famous Turkish Historian” He is neither Turkish nor historian but an Armenian terrorist hot air balloon. His educational background is in Social Studies and his degree is just as dubious due to his “collaboration” with the BND (German Secret Service). Incidentally, it is no longer a secret that Germany has an incentive in distracting the worlds' attention from the Holocaust and could use a good Genocide story to take away the heat from them.

    This is the latest trend by the cunning Armenian diaspora to show Turkish named Armenian extremists such as Taner Akcam and Ugur Ungor as respected Turkish intellectuals who are spearheading a regretful dialog towards recognizing their 100 year old allegation of genocide within the Turkish community. Just like every other trick they tried and failed in this will only prove their deceptive common trait but nothing else.

    We know a lot more about this charlatan and that deceptive minds behind him are trying to use him as a Trojan horse. In reality, he is just another bad seed ass in footsteps of his equally deranged forefathers.

    Now you too know the rest of the story…
