Soulsborne runs and lies of p runs I have watched is more of a run past every enemy, and then fight bosses. I’m in disbelief that you pulled this off. 11 hours of thousands of enemies. Haha Thanks Bolt! It was pretty hard mate, almost got the run 1.5 years ago but due to a glitch 1 minute away from completing it, resulted in me uninstalling the game to "take a break". 1.5 years later we came back to finish off the job, this run was personal lol 💪
I'm beyond amazed man. This shit looks unrealistic, considering just how much I struggled even against normal enemies, not taking a hit from bosses seemed like a challenge in it's own right. The way you learned the game, understood it's pattern variations is amazing. You predict their attacks even before they attack. You know what? I want to congratulate every player who performs impressive fights segmented! This is a super achievement. And other games also have runs like this like RE4. And one of my favorite parts on expanding games is that PEOPLE HAVE TO CREATE RULES TO EXPLAIN WHAT THEY DO. Wukong for example has many instances of forced damage… yet if you perform a specific way you can avoid these unavoidable hits. So truly think these challenges are more personal and cool that way instead of factual. Like even the famous Souls no-hit community did weird rules like shield. Like sure, you can see why not from a point of view, specially when seeing the gameplay of the best shield in each game… yet at the same time 99% of the shields on those games are more of a hindrance than help so the rule is not as much a challenge as it is an inside joke. Cause if you go out of your way to build for shields the run is a lot more annoying than the easy 2 hour run guides that have been optimized around building that 1 weapon and getting the XP (without rambling, I’m talking about the routing and how it becomes replicable like a cooking recipe). So what I’m saying is that I like how doing a less popular run leads to the personality of the runner showing in gameplay. To have a run that isn’t optimized in paper. A run with unique rules cause “no hit” isn’t a community full of specific rules. Like how I’ve seen Re1 no hits either allowing the use of the self defense knife or banning it. And finally the behind the scenes practice. A not as popular game (on challenges, not in copies sold) means a lot of personal practice. Loading saves to fight the enemies over and over again. Even routing which enemies to kill first and others to save for endgame depending on the game.

At first I thought it must be segmented but it was a 11 hour stream mad respect even though it may be (give me a story difficulty) it's still very very difficult.
I know it’s been a month, but seeing you talk about how most runs are basically a boss rush raises the idea of a new type of run. Basically it would be called something like “Level Clear” or “Full Clear” and the point is that you’d have to kill every enemy or pick up every item in an area before you’re allowed to fight the area boss. That way you’re “forced” to engage with everything that the game has to offer.
I recently started with god of War Ragnarök and holy shit, this is the most impressive thing i ever saw, i play souls games and do runs myself but this is absolutely crazy, biggest respect mate 🙏 is there anything planed on doing the same Run on higher difficulty?

That's a cutscene where that "hit on kratos" is cinematic and you have no control of your character before the QTE's come in. If you go to any other fight against Thor on youtube, the same thing happens every time. The fight is already over! Hope that clarifies

At first I thought it must be segmented but it was a 11 hour stream mad respect even though it may be (give me a story difficulty) it's still very very difficult.
I know it’s been a month, but seeing you talk about how most runs are basically a boss rush raises the idea of a new type of run. Basically it would be called something like “Level Clear” or “Full Clear” and the point is that you’d have to kill every enemy or pick up every item in an area before you’re allowed to fight the area boss. That way you’re “forced” to engage with everything that the game has to offer.

That's a cutscene where that "hit on kratos" is cinematic and you have no control of your character before the QTE's come in. If you go to any other fight against Thor on youtube, the same thing happens every time. The fight is already over! Hope that clarifies
