    Thanks for the video. I've seen this technique used in a California refinery back 1989 to create a solid area of over an acre in size for a new process unit. The unit used back then was much larger than this depiction and was working at 60' of depth and up. It was fascinating to watch and quite effective in getting the required compaction for what would eventually be over a million pounds of new steel vessels, piping, concrete, and other refinery equipment.

    So once the holes are drilled, does it support some sort of 'footer' structure, how does the building get supported by this type of construction?
