I’m only just now adding this to my song list and I’m so glad you put in the effort all these years. Your lessons have remained consistently some of the best in the world.
Came here after watching your Round and Round lessons and talk about night and day as far as the guitar parts go.., pretty much what I've known for years.., Mick Mars is just as he famously advertised to get the gig; Loud., Rude., aggressive guitarist!! and he's for sure done a lot with a little!! But Warren D and Robin C could really Lay It Down with the best in class at the time. That being said., it just goes to show that a lot of music is about attitude and catchy hooks most of all and so while this song is absolute beginning level musicianship it also rocks a hard steady grove with attitude and is a lot of just to crank it up and jam too!!
Hey everyone, Fender has a great tuning site with all the different ranges. I use it always for quick changes as I only have one guitar right now. Its my go to every day. Try not to depend on tuners and listen to match. Is good practice that pays off. Helps you lock in to really getting familiar with the G, B, and high E.
Let me start by saying you do an amazing job and explain very well. I understand it takes more time, however it would be helpful if you played all of your strings open one at a time so we could tune to your guitar. Keep up the great work \m/
This will get you 90% there, listen to isolated tracks and you'll here the main rift for one example is not ( 1,2 and3) it's 1 2 AND AH, the more I listen to isolated tracks, mick has such small nuisances you won't catch unless you know it's there, and once you hear thenm, you won't unhear them
is that a Majesty or a JP7? Either way I love it. I'm normally an Ibanez guy but I have heard SO MANY good things about the JP Music Man series and of coarse I'm a huge DT fan and consider JP basically the best player out there next to Vai. I like Ibanez for their necks, and I hate Gibson LP's for their thick necks, aside from the Page Sig with the slim taper neck which actually feels really good. I just don't want to spend 2k on an axe without paying it first and it have a thick ass neck, but seeing as JP was under Ibanez before he went to Ernie Ball, I have a feeling that the neck on the JPMM is really nice
I see so many guitarists on youtube fretting power chords with the index and pinky fingers. Wouldn't it be easier to use the ring finger instead of the pinky so you can use the pinky to play accents on the chords?
Hey Carl, Can we do a bit of David Gilmour..."Shine On you Crazy Diamond " ..just the main them and the main solo. " On An Island " is very nice also. Loved the lessons on delay settings. cheers
I found that the Marshall 59 sneaky amp, then the amp eq to a 80s metal sound(on guitar patches.com) then I messed with my settings in the editor part of amp to match my ltd 256,I imagine it'll sound different on other guitars but it bout as close as I could get mine. Good luck
It's on the boss guitar patches. If you didn't download tone studio u got to do that first. The sneaky amps are at github.com/katana-dev/docs/blob/master/how-to/use-28 amptypes.md. Download that unzip it start time studio import it think 22-25 will do it for u 2 are Marshall 59,and 1 of them is a mess boogie vintage.
Am i the only one that just know that theres a pattern like a tiger skin at his guitar?i just realized that now,cuz ive been watching his video like a long time and i never knew there is a tiger skin
Valkyrie Reaper Check out this lesson's page on the official site and it will tell you all you need to know :) guitarlessons365.com/shout-at-the-devil-guitar-lesson-motley-crue/
Also, if it's not much of a bother, I'd like some pointers on Nothing Else Matters by Metallica, I would actually like to learn it, as it was recommended by my mother that I learn it.
Get new gear, buy a marshall for that 80s metal tone or at least a good OD pedal. I'm selling a solid state micro stack for ~$230 if you live in the US. Just posted on reverb. It's decent for Crüe

Buy a tuner.
When I try and play it, it doesn't sound the same😭
It's because Mick uses at least like 3 amps and a different guitar so it won't necessarily sound the same
Get new gear, buy a marshall for that 80s metal tone or at least a good OD pedal. I'm selling a solid state micro stack for ~$230 if you live in the US. Just posted on reverb. It's decent for Crüe
Joe can you send me a link to it? Is it on reverb

Fucking sweet
What does he mean by “slide up on the 2 strings” someone help???
What he means by slide up on 2 strings is that you hold the D and G string whilst sliding up and back and starting the riff up again
Could you do girls girls girls
Amei amei amei
real fans tune every string to D
I am so sick of the slant hand. It feels lazy. Every finger drags behind.
