Out of all the questions, Got 3 right. 2 of them were lucky guesses. The other, what was Paul name, I just knew. 3 out of 20 is ashamed to admit. But I must. No more excuses and reason for not reading needs to stop. Thanks for the questions. I'll be looking forward for more.
It's encouraging to find out how much I've learned in my years of serving the Lord..by your quizes..I truly enjoy them Thank you for sharing I'm a new subscriber to your quizes!
HALLELUJAH!!! I got three incorrect out of it one question i didn't understand well, it was good food for my soul to shine thanks be to GOD for such bible Quize for me on social media.
Great job, Magdalena! Sorry if one of the questions was not worded very well. Sometimes it is difficult to word a question so that it can be read in a short amount of time and fit in the small area of the quiz. Blessings!
Hi Louise, don't feel too bad, I tried to pick questions that were not too obvious, that way we can learn new things - or remember some things we forgot. Have a blessed evening!
I got 18 correct. I know Paul wrote a large portion of The New Testament and have read his epistles several times. But I chose the wrong answer. Also, when Paul defended himself before Festus and Agrippa, I think at first I misunderstood the question. It dawned on me after choosing Agrippa that it was Festus who was trying Paul, not King Agrippa. I do want to take this opportunity to thank you for the thoroughness of your questions! They are very deep and insightful! I am glad God has given me a hunger for His Word and has increased my knowledge in His Word! I really appreciate the fact that you are putting a lot of effort to make these Bible quizzes challenging. It does require studying God's Word to be able to perform well on your quizzes! But most importantly, God does command it. When one gives serious thought to God's Word, that individual will come to realize that there are many statements in it that are obvious commands. The Ten Commandments are only a very few of these commands. Trust in the Lord; Lean not unto thine own understanding (Proverbs 3:5) Go ye into all the world (Matthew 28:19) Pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17) These are all commands, not requests. And it seems that it is a tall order, which it is. But I am remembering a wonderful saying! "Gods' calling is Gods' enabling." When one comes to know Jesus, God's Son, these commands God gives us become possible. Because I know I, in my own strength, cannot live the life God tells me to live. But I know that He has given me His strength, which enables me to live the life that He has given me! Thank You, Jesus!
Thanks so much for those kind words, Michael! As far as doing those commands, the following verse below comes to mind. That might be what you were referencing. God bless you! Philippians 4:13 (NKJV) I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Hi Gary, the quiz was not easy. I try to pick questions that are not what most people think of all the time, otherwise it would be just too easy and not very educational. There are so many great nuggets in the Bible that we sometimes forget. Thanks for taking the quiz. God bless!
Great job. Thank you. More facts about Paul: - Paul wrote more books of the bible than any other writer - Paul wrote more words in the NT than any other writer except Luke. But 25% of Luke’s Writings (half of Acts) were about Paul. - Paul talks about Jesus Christ more than any other writer - Paul talks about grace more than all the other bible authors put together. - To belittle Paul and his writings is to belittle “The Word” Jesus Christ. - Paul was the only person ever sent by Jesus Christ to go to Gentiles - Paul was the last person to see and speak to Christ I Cor 15:8, II Cor 12:1 - Paul was the one who completed the word of God. Col 1:25 - Paul is the first one in the body of Christ - the mystery hid in God. 1Tim 1:16 - It is Paul alone that said we are saved by the “faith of Christ” - It is Paul alone who said we are not under the law Rom 6:14 - It is Paul alone who speaks of Jews and Gentiles as one Gal 3:28 - It is Paul alone who speaks of the “body of Christ” - Paul said: 2 Tim 2:7 Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things. - Paul’s writings are the only place we find the gospel message that can save a person today. - Paul is the only writer to talk this way: Rom 16:25, I Tim 1:16, I Cor 3:10, I Cor 11:1, Gal 6:14 - To ignore Paul is to ignore Jesus Christ If you take Paul’s writings out of the bible: You will be under the law and not under grace, you will be under God’s wrath for not keeping the law and not have the peace of God. Rom 6:14, Rom 5:1 We need to rightly divide God's word to get a good understanding of terms and their interpretation just as God commanded in 2Tim 2:15. Thanks so much, I'm glad you liked the quiz. That is quite a list about Paul you came up with. Paul is absolutely an important person in the Bible, for God's glory. God bless you.
Thanks for taking another quiz! You might be right, I'm just not sure so I just used the available information and general consensus I could find. Since it sounds like you knew the answer from that perspective, we will count it that you got 16/20 😀 Have a blessed evening!
Love the quiz & got them all correct. I disagree with how many books Paul authored. I know why you said 13, but any serious scholar of Paul knows that he wrote Hebrews…there are multiple obvious reasons that it could have been written by no one else
Thanks so much! I know there is a debate on the number, so I did not give 14 as a possible answer since that might confuse some people. I had to pick one so I picked the traditional number. I'm not an expert on this and so so I'm not sure. But I understand your position. Have a blessed day!
I'm a serious scholar and I don't think Paul wrote Hebrews. Neither does/did John Macarthur, Ron Rhodes, A.T. Robertson, John Calvin. You may want to reconsider making blanket statements regarding such a debatable point.
Thanks for taking the quiz. Good catch. Yes, that was a tricky question. Some scholars think he wrote Hebrews, and some don't. That is why the question used the words "traditionally credited." I also didn't give an answer option for 14, to try and reduce any confusion. If people had to choose between the answers 13 or 14, that would have been very difficult. Have a blessed day.
Thanks for taking the quiz, Maritta! It is not an easy one. I'm so glad you had fun. And now you know the answers to the ones you missed, so that is a great thing. God bless you!
Thanks for taking the quiz, Kathy! I didn't include Hebrews because there is not a consensus that he wrote the book. In fact, from my research most scholars do not think he was the author. I only included the books where we have a high degree of certainty that Paul wrote it and that is has been traditionally accepted. If you Google "how many new testament books did the Apostle Paul write" you will see many sites that talk about this. From what I can find, traditionally and currently, most say he wrote 13 books and Hebrews wasn't one of them. Sorry, I know that question was a little tricky because some churches teach that Paul wrote it. The Mormons teach that for example. Have a blessed evening!
Thanks for taking the quiz, Peter! It's a hard quiz, so don't go too hard on yourself. And now you know all the ones you got wrong, so that is good. God bless you!
Hello Norman, yes that is correct. If you see on the question number one answer at the bottom I give the Sha'ul spelling and pronunciation. But in our English Bibles they write this as Saul. So that is the multiple choice answer that is in the quiz. In our English Bibles, his Roman name is Paul and his Hebrew name is Saul (more accurately pronounced as Sha'ul in the Hebrew language). It's just like if I asked who was a leader of the church in Jerusalem. People would say James because that is the name that is in our Bibles. However we know that his name was not actually James, it would be Jacob in English (more accurately pronounced Ya'aqov in the Hebrew language). But if I gave the answer as Jacob no one would know what I am talking about. So, for the sake of common convention and understanding, that is why I do this like that. But in any case, we are trying to use English letters, with its corresponding sounds, to write and pronounce a Hebrew word. Our English letters are not a one-to-one match with Hebrew letters. So we can never be 100 percent accurate writing most Hebrew words in English. I hope that helps. God bless!
Hi Mark, If you are referring to question number 1, some of the wrong answers I give to choose from are definitely wrong. Thanks for taking the quiz. Blessings!
Thanks for taking the quiz, Janice. That quiz is one of the older style ones I have. The newer quizzes are shorter between questions. There is a substantial number of international people who take these quizzes where English is not their first language, so I don't want to go too fast. God bless.

Pauls hebrew name is Shaul.
But in any case, we are trying to use English letters, with its corresponding sounds, to write and pronounce a Hebrew word. Our English letters are not a one-to-one match with Hebrew letters. So we can never be 100 percent accurate writing most Hebrew words in English.
