I think this movie targets the Gen Xers out here who grew up in the post Vietnam war movie era. Moviess like Platoon, Full Metal Jacket, Hamburger Hill. Apocalypse Now, Deer Hunter.... etc. A lot of the comedy and tropes are aimed specifically at scenes from those movies.
Just finished the movie (Unrated Version). I really liked it. The ost of the movie was better than I expected. This sounds almost like something from Sonic CD, particularly 3:19 onwards 1.5x speed sounds really good.
