the good thing about moona is that she has very large room to grow as singer, as she only received professional tutelage several month back. and the result show themselves now if you compare it with her "again" cover, you kinda see the improvement.

Moona really has a beautiful voice. The first time I've heard her sing was actually in a Minecraft stream when she just randomly started singing and even then it was amazing. Hearing her then in such a wonderful original song is really breathtaking. After the "1 year of" series (the videos are about 4th gen only, because they have debuted in late December 2019 to early January 2020, so about one year when the videos came out) I can highly recommend the HoloRewind2020 series by Aonahara translations and Hololive Resort Subs that not only cover every single girl from Hololive, JP, ID and EN, (but AZKi, probably because she hasn't streamed a lot last year and is mainly a singer, so you can just listen to her songs, and ID Gen 2, as they just debuted in December) but also all of Holostars including two retired members and the whole discontinued Chinese branch. The videos cover one Gen each (but the second Holostars one that covers both Gen 2 and 3) and are about 30 minutes +/- 3 minutes long (some are shorter). They are very high quality with a lot of people working on this project.
Moona's very good at singing, that's for sure. I'm glad she finally put out an original on her channel~ The message in the song is super heartfelt even if you don't understand it, it just Hits. Fitting to be released on her birthday too. Absolutely amazing to say the least. A lot of other vtubers made a video for her on her birthday that you could check out if you want, someone has clipped her reacting to it I'm sure. That was super sweet, and our lil' moon bawled her eyes out. She is loved and loves so many people all of her success is deserved and then some. Happy for her! If I may make a recommendation, it'd be Gimme×Gimmeを歌う素質はある【mega×涼/芹沢】- and older song that needs some love imo. Probably my favorite, "GimmexGimme" cover. Reminds me a lot of k-pop.
