I completely agree. He puts more into his videos and we see more of his incredible personality. It’s almost like a completely different person in a much better way
I also love it. However, it might be beneficial to play an hour of smash or something on stream every week for a video so the algorithm doesn’t murder him
At 19:00 flygon isn't actually a flying type, its ground and dragon. The reason ground types don't effect it is because of it's ability levitate, which if you didn't know prevents ground types from hitting it.
@@playbtdbattles2409 true, but at 11:30 he also said that ground moves don't effect emolga "because it is flying" which is consistent at 19:00 where he said flygon can't be hit with ground moves because it's flying, even though emolga is flying, and flygon isn't. So I think this was just an honest mistake by poppt where he thought flygon was flying type, and didn't check before making the video
as an underdogs fan, jordan's "slower upload schedule" is still better than all other underdogs affiliated channels, so I'm happy with higher quality videos (seriously, every video he's posted in this format has been an absolute banger)
It's definitely a bummer as someone who works M-F, I appreciated being able to watch a Poppt1 video at lunch everyday. I wonder how the change in style has affected his ad revenue?
i love this I really love pokemon and i do nuzlocke by myself and the final speech about ur experience was so good, i felt like u really start loving pokemon nuzlockes and, i would really love to see more, keep it up Jordan
I’m pretty sure Puffle only outsped the Haxorus at 19:53 because it used dragon tail, a move which always goes last. Because you were a dragon type yourself, the AI knew dragon tail would be super-effective, so it went for that over another move
My favorite thing about watching my favorite content creators do Nuzlock challenges is watching their video a second time on HIS channel. I hope poppt gets some new subs from the traffic of that video.
your attitude and outlook is really refreshing. I recently started nuzlocking and I'm on my 2nd attempt of Fire Red, and even though I'm doing better than my 1st run, its hard for me look past the mistakes I've made so far and how I'm not as prepared as I'd like to be - as if I should be able to execute on the perfect strategy or have minimal casualties like other popular runs. Thanks for posting this. I think it'll help me to just have fun and to stay in my own lane more :)
Your segment at the end was really touching. I was recently drawn into Pokemon and I took my daughter to the world championship last weekend due to the store being there. But I have to admit it really surprised me, having been to smash events, magic the gathering events and now a huge pokemon event, I can say it was unlike anything I've ever experienced. It was brilliant and it's made me interested in playing competitive pokemon. Loving the non smash content, but just wanted to share my personal experience recently too.
For any RPG fans that don't like the traditional format there's always Pokemon Conquest that is a tactics game akin to FF Tactics. Also shout out to the TWEWY Music one of my favorite games ever :)
Jordan, you are absolutely killing it on this different content. I’m enjoying it so much. I hope you continue to expand your gaming videos to other games as well.
Glad you got a chance to try out the the Nuzlocke challenge Poppt1. I can vouch that playing Pokemon like that can def be more fun and challenging. If you want, just an idea, try out the Randomize Nuzlocke challenge. It's just chaotic but just as fun. Keep up the good work

As someone that knows a lot about pokémon (not world champion level or anything even remotely close to that hahah) it's interesting to see someone struggle with some basic decisions, but everyone starts somewhere and I did too 🤪 the ending was sad though, you'll get it next time 💪
I’m loving the new video style. I really enjoy watching you do a different, more completely thought out video. Don’t be afraid to do some videos the same as the old smash ones.
Love this type of content Poppt! Dont worry even veteran pokemon players cant complete hardcore nuzlockes XD. It is the hardest form of nuzlocke in Pokemon
I found out about Underdogs through Little Z, specifically because of his early pokémon showdown videos, so seeing you do this after you slowly became my favorite member is like everything is going full circle :)
Really enjoying these stream recap videos! The quality is just so high and it fun listening to your focused narrations where you don’t have to worry about your gameplay in real time.
I was kinda surprised you hadn't really played Pokemon before. As someone who's been playing the mainline games for 10+ years, it was interesting to see how much of the knowledge I take for granted, might not be as obvious to others. It was really fun to watch you play and pop off when you won fights! Also, congrats on 200k🥳
I'm stoked to see you play Pokemon! This is a great treat to come home to after work! Also your per-video reminder that I'd fund your Guilty Gear Strive challenge and help you train, if you're interested!
I love how Poppt explains like "Pokemons can have two types" or how you can you use earthquake without killing your other pokemons, refering to that like a "Genius Einstain Strats" When 70% of his viewers knows how pokemon works better than him
Bruh you got so lucky against that Haxorus. Dragon dance set ups are so scary and your Altaria must have some good speed IV's, nature or EV's 😆 Hope to see some more of those videos to see your progress with all mechanics. You did well Poppt.
I believe what happened is that drayden went for Dragon Tail, which always goes last and causes a switch. The fact that all of his mons have that instead of dragon claw makes the haxorus a lot less dangerous than it could be lol

Congrats on the sub goal! It's been a while since I saw a video of yours but I'm enjoying this. Also, I'm glad you didn't stop after losing so many times. I've only ever tried regular nuzlockes, and I find them hard enough to do. Hardcore is just too much for me to think of handling.
Hey Jordan, I really love the new style of your vids. And I'm happy to see that u are having fun with it. Nevertheless I mostly enjoyed your smash bros. content, so my favorite video in that setting of a challenge was your try playing Little Mac in a tournament and first learn everything about the character. Imo this one was one of your best videos of all time. The lack of smash content kinda makes me sad while I also love you trying out new games and building up a whole story around it. Don't want to push you or demand more smash related vids. But I wish you could make a series out of the "I learned THAT caharcter for 2 weeks and then I entered a tournament"-idea. Anyway, I am excited for all new content on your channel. Keep grinding.
An easy way to Lv Up your pokemon fast in that game is to batle Pkmn Breeders you can battle them an infinite amount of times as long as you leave the arena then come back to the breeder the area in Nimbasa city where poppt1 was if you enter the Lostlorn Forest theres a Pkmn Breeder there after you batttle her and win leave the forest and re enter the forest continue this for as long as you want to plus theres other breeders around unova like grinding near the end by repeatedly battling the Pkmn breeder in the route where the pokemon terrakion appears to repeatedly battle that breeder enter the route then re enter the route
Hey, just wanted to say that I’ve been loving the format of these videos where you try out something and give a post commentary about it with highlights.
The one time I attempted a Nuzlocke was in Black and when I got to Route 2 I found a full odds shiny Patrat and it caught me off guard so much that I changed my entire plan and just caught it and played the rest of the game normally And yeah, grinding is the worst game mechanic in a Nuzlocke, especially when fainting is considered a death
This was great, but I just want to say that there were some big flaws that as a Pokémon fan leaves me dumbfounded. Of course a lvl 2 Purrloin is gonna due to a lvl 6 Lillipup’s STAB Tackle. Also, in case you didn’t know, if a Pokémon uses a move that’s the same as it’s type it will deal 50% more damage. That means moves like Razor Leaf do more damage when used by a Grass type instead of a non grass type.
I wish you would upload some more videos, even you just playing some Elite smash cause watching you play is soooooo entertaining! But all things aside your like my favorite RUclipsr and I love watching your videos. :D
