I thought you could use a 9x12 or 9x13 or whatever works cake pan. Bore out a center hole and attach it you’ll have your sides, paint it green or yellow. Slide seed into hole. It’s nice to have a good buddy to help out and I’m glad the wife has a AG business to grow and make it all her own. Happy wife, happy life!

You know you can take a corn plate for that two row planner and modify it for pumpkin seed will fall through it and then you just pull it like a regular planner

Use your John Deere seed box’s with finger pickup you can plant pumpkin seed with them just have different gears for spacing that’s what we use

for pumpkin planter find an old white 6 row, Strip down to rows 2 and 5. find the large corn disc. If your seeds aren't super huge you'll be in business with an air planter. probably to late for this year. good luck

Have thought about cutting the lips off of the seed belt. Might have to play with the spacing. But when we planted cotton with a JD 7000 planted we cut every other one off to make it drop cotton like we wanted. Can’t see why that wouldn’t work with pumpkins seed.

Find someone with a three D printer and use a couple of corn plates and design the plates with right number of holes to achieve the population you want
