The world map idea is great, you did a ton of work, also this compass matches this project perfectly. I'm not a fan of this rough stitching, but I get the concept. Overall great job!
You had my like & subscription at 0:07 . I've watched what feels like hundreds of videos like this and you're the first person I've seen include the measurements (on purpose) like that. Thank you
For all that decorative work I would have really expected you to use something more substantial than a running stitch on the interior panel, or at least anchor it with a couple of back stitches instead of just melting the ends of your thread if that was an aesthetic choice. Could you share your reason for attaching the slotted panel with an unsecured running stitch? I would love to learn your thoughts there. Overall lovely project!
Honestly… I don’t know!😂 I started leather crafting back in 2012 and I was completely self taught! I have sold hundreds of these pouches with all kind of pyrography designs and I’ve never gotten a negative review. My husband and many of my friends uses my pouches for years and no one has a problem with the stitching. I have developed my leather crafting skills all these years, but I continue making my tobacco pouches like this even today! Crazy? 😂 I will make an updated video on how to make a tobacco pouch the “right” way! Promise! 😊
Unfortunately I stopped creating handmade tobacco pouches... they are very time consuming and I have much more to do now! Thank you very much for your interest 😊
You can just print the pattern full size on A4 paper, cut it, attach the pieces on the leather with masking tape and cut. Or glue the pattern on a cardboard and use it to mark on the leather. You can see how it’s done in most of my videos 😊

OLD LEATHER SMITH here, very good, last closure would be very hard if a beginner had large hands, other wise very good, GOD'S BLESSINGS ✝️⚾🙃
Do you wet the leather before burning like you would when tooling or stamping? Or do you just work with it dry?
If you wet the leather you won’t be able to burn it. It should be dry and Only veg tanned leather
Beautiful work...what is the thickness of the leather?
Thank you! It’s 1.2mm

Perfect...!

Hi.Beautiful work. Just one question... How many Watts is this pyrography, or how many Watts do you reccomend for a pyrography? Thanks in advance.
Thank you. Mine is at 30watts, but any other pyrographer would work too.

How did you transfer the pattern onto the leather?
You can just print the pattern full size on A4 paper, cut it, attach the pieces on the leather with masking tape and cut. Or glue the pattern on a cardboard and use it to mark on the leather. You can see how it’s done in most of my videos 😊
